Fedora and EPEL sport SquidGuard 1.4.36. Now when you search for "squidguard", this seems to be the project site: * http://squidguard.org/index.html

Squid + SquidGuard : static block page not working
Hi, I've been working with Squid + SquidGuard for a few years, though only on Slackware. I'm currently transferring my proxy expertise to CentOS 7, and right now I'm having a little problem with that. Squid works perfectly so far as a transparent HTTP + HTTPS cache proxy. The next step is to add SquidGuard, so I installed it and edited the most basic /etc/squid/squidGuard.conf file

According to the official website, SquidGuard is dead in the water. Apparently there's still some mysterious maintainer around. Which would be nice, because

Squid and HTTPS interception on CentOS 7 ?

The law in France (Code P?nal, article 227-24) states that a public network is not allowed to broadcast messages containing violence, pornography or any content contrary to basic human dignity, which is theoretically punishable with three years of prison or a 75.000 ? fee. Block internet access for some users on the LAN ?
Hi, In our local school we have two servers and roughly 80 clients. The network is 192.168.10.0/255.255.255.0, and DHCP+DNS is managed by Dnsmasq. Use EPEL without redirection ?
Hi, Is there any way to deactivate the redirection to a mirror when using the third-party EPEL repository ? Our network uses a transparent HTTP/HTTPS proxy with a local AC. We can create exceptions for sites like centos.org or download.fedoraproject.org, but whenever we want to install a package from EPEL, the mirror redirection causes an error due to redirection. Any suggestions ? Niki --

Running Shorewall with Squidguard on same machine
Hi, I''m trying to get Shorewall to work with Squidguard on a machine which is acting as the fileserver, firewall, proxy server and internet access point for a small network. The network at present consists of the fileserver/firewall machine running RH 8.0, two Linux boxes running various RH distributions and two windows virtual machines running on the other machines under Win4Lin.
