Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client for 32- bit CentOS 6
I have the above installed on a couple of 64-bit systems, both CentOS 6 and CentOS 7, where the client works fine.
Now, however, I have installed the 32-bit version of CentOS 6 on a netbook but I cannot get the Cisco website installer to recognize the computer/operating system, not even displaying any error message.
Does anyone have the client running on a 32-bit system? I have been told it

You shouldn't need to build Cisco's client. Just install openconnect

Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client for 32- bit CentOS 6
Install the excellent openconnect client from EPEL, I think there is also a NetworkManager plugin for it so you can use a UI, though the cli is not too bad.

Cisco AnyConnect on 6.2 32-bit?
Grr.. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the Cisco AnyConnect client to
work under 6.2 32-bit. Seems like there is always 1 thing preventing my
from using the latest centos release as my sole workstation.
It was actually working on a new install for about half a day. I rebooted
and now it won't connect. If I boot another vm (ubuntu or oel 5.7) the same
client works.
Im using version

openvpn client and KDE Network Manager - with CentOS7
Hi All,
I am switching from Fedora20 to CentOS7 since I now run all my Linux
development in a VM and I get a more robust feature set (i.e. shared
folders with the host that "just work", etc)
The only issue I have thus far is VPN connections. Looking at what's
installed on my old Fedora install I suspect I need these packages:
kde-plasma-nm-vpnc
kde-plasma-nm-openvpn

nameserver issue
Hi all!
This question is, at best, somewhat peripheral to Centos, but I'm
hoping to be forgiven, and that someone here can give me a clue.
I've just brought up a nameserver on my household LAN, bind9 on a
Raspberry Pi.
The connection with Centos is this: my main desktop is C7, and its
hardwired network is also manual, not dhcp. I've edited the ipv4 config
(in NM) and changed the DNS

Folks
I would like to have my windows 7 laptop communicate with my home
server via a VPN, in such a way that it appears to be "inside" my
home network. It should not only let me appear to be at home for any
external query, but also let me access my computers inside my home.
I already have this working using M$'s PPTP using my home Centos 6
gateway/router as the PoPToP server.

VPN connection before login
I imagine something like Cisco AnyConnect on Windows, where you can connect before login to the machine. So afterwards user specific network shares are available and can be connect via scripts.
I have an openvpn server running.

Asterisk inside network. What phone works well?
Hello list,
I have Asterisk running well inside our network. I did some experiments exposing it to internet but had some issues:
1. NAT issues (voice one way, etc). From what I understand double-NAT users will always have something like this
2. Immediately I see people trying to hack into. I did configure Fail2Ban and it works somewhat, but not 100%. Erroneous logs, etc
So.. I ended up closing

R hangs when connected via VPN [incl. minimal example]
Dear expeRts,
This is a similar post as on R-SIG-MAC [I didn't receive an answer there; not sure if it was the right place to post either].
I'm running R version 2.12.1 (Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin9.8.0/x86_64 (64-bit))
on a MacBook Pro under Mac OS X 10.6.6. The following minimal example runs fine
under this setup. However, if I am connected to a server via a VPN client

Try this on your VPN_office host:
tcpdump -npi any icmp and host 192.168.1.3
In parallel you start a ping from the other network:
ping 192.168.1.1
I assume, that tcpdump will show all packets from

conflicts in updating to CR repo
Note, first of all I haven't actually updated, I'm just running "yum update"
to see what conflicts, if any, I get so I can be prepared when the final
7.7 release happens.
I've traditionally used the nvidia packages from elrepo, but recently
enabled rpmfusion (back when I started using 7.x, I disabled rpmfusion
because it took them a looooong time to get a EL7 repository up).
