[PATCH v2] v2v: linux: fix kernel detection when split in different packages
The current detection code for Linux kernels assumes that a kernel package contains everything in it, i.e. the kernel itself, its modules, and its configuration. However, since recent Ubuntu versions (e.g. starting from 18.04) modules & config (with few more files) are split in an own package, thus not detecting the modpath from installed vmlinuz files. To overcome this situation, rework

3.7.1p2 sftp recurse patch
This patch is against OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 sources. It adds recursive (directory) downloading and uploading. Criticism/suggestions welcome. I would imagine the time official support is added, recursive operations will be handled on a per-command basis as a flag as opposed to a global toggle command (such as get -r)? diff -ru openssh-3.7.1p2/sftp-int.c openssh-3.7.1p2-patched/sftp-int.c ---

[PATCH] ipconfig: handle multiple interfaces correctly
When configuring multiple interfaces, the existing logic in ipconfig can fail if DHCP replies are received out of the expected order, or if one or more interfaces never receive replies. The current ipconfig logic uses a single packet socket to handle all incoming DHCP replies. If, for example, the host has two interfaces, A and B, and only B will be sent a DHCP reply, the order of events goes

Moving all items from one Scriptaculous box to another
I posted the following on news://comp.lang.javascript, and someone kindly replied suggesting I should try on this mailing list. (Please excuse very long lines - I carefully format line endings; but Microsoft Outlook, which I have to use at my client site, then takes it upon itself to rearrange and remove most of my linefeeds! :-< ) I am using Thomas Fuchs''s amazing drag-and-drop

formula method with "special" characters
Dear List, I'm trying to create a formula method, allowing for a "special" character in the formula (i.e., similar to for example the gam package with the character "s" in y ~ s(x)). I've checked and it seems this is done through attr(,"specials"). However, the section of code below (as an example extracted from the gam package) gives me an error as shown at

[rhel-9.2 v2v PATCH 0/2] detect_kernels: deal with RHEL's kernel-core / kernel-modules-core split
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2175703 In RHEL-9.2, the "detect_kernels" function still exists in virt-v2v, not in the common submodule.
