Kodi requires libmicrohttpd. The libmicrohttpd library

log4j12 package in CentOS 8
According to the RHEL docs, package log4j was replaced with package log4j12 in RHEL 8.0. However, when I attempt to install the package in CentOS 8, dnf cannot find it. I have the Base, AppStream, Extras and PowerTools repos enabled. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

vTPM NVM, loadkey and trousers questions
Hi everyone, I am using Xen 3.2.1 with the vtpm-12-patch.diff patch posted in [0]. My TPM is an Infineon 1.2. In total I have got three different questions: 1. CentOS 8: several packages have unresolved dependencies after "dnf update all "
All, While updating my package using dnf update all I allow dnf to clean some package with unresolved dependencies. I would like to reinstall some of them but got an error message "but none of the providers can be installed" during the install process as dnf is trying to install the dependencies. . This happens for some critical package like boost-openmpi-devel (see below for

Ailing MATE desktop
I need some C8 troubleshooting help with MATE. I'm building a ZFS storage server with a SuperMicro H11SSL motherboard, EPYC 7232 CPU, and 32 GB ECC SDRAM. I installed CentOS 8.1.1911 from the iso as soon as it was released. I'm using the on-board ASPEED VGA video. I installed MATE v1.22 from https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/stenstorp/MATE/. Problem upgrading from 8.0 to 8.1
Hi, I want to upgrade from 8.0 to 8.1 but yum update does not work. Still 8.0 Probably the cause is that I compiled DRBD myself because it was not available for 8.0 when I set up the machine. Now yum update says: Error: ?Problem 1: cannot install the best update candidate for package drbd-pacemaker-9.11.0-1.el8.x86_64 ? - nothing provides pacemaker needed by

Interestingly the fc8 designation was lost. I also rebuild it on my fc10 system. It worked, and the rpms have
