and CentOS-7. If you are interested in signed metadata repos, please

repomd.xml.asc BAD signature in CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2003.iso
Hi list,
I downloaded the CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2003.iso ( sha256sum
659691c28a0e672558b003d223f83938f254b39875ee7559d1a4a14c79173193 ) and
mount it on /mnt
Unfortunately, It returned "BAD signature" when I verified the
repodata/repomd.xml.asc
So should I continue to use this ISO?
Below is my procedure:
# gpg --import /mnt/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-7
gpg: key F4A80EB5: public key

Dag mirror, yum and repomd.xml!
Hi:
I have a mirror of dag repository
(http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/dag/) in my intranet which is used
by other servers to install/update rpms. I installed on every remote
server the rpmforge rpm, edit the /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmforge.repo to fit
with my intranet mirror, but when I run yum, I get this error:
#yum -c rpmforge.repo search nagios
Warning, could not load sqlite, falling back to

What can be done to fix yum so I can use it again?

Yum repomd.xml error
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

List,
I searched google for this error, but apparently I'm either lacking
the necessary 1337 skillz, or you know I just am not gettin' a
google friendly search put into it. The error is below.

Thunderbird 38.4.0 not offered, see it in packages, repomd outdated?
Hi,
first: I did several yum clean all's :-)
Thunderbird 38.4.0 is not offered.
I see:
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/updates/x86_64/Packages/thunderbird-38.4.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64.rpm - 27-Nov-2015 06:58 - 56M
But:
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/updates/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml - 18-Nov-2015 20:00 - 3.4K
Shouldn't repomd also be updated or am I mistaken?
Thanks

Anaconda can't squeeze out the repomd.xml
Greetings.
There must be some minor changes to anaconda. I'm getting the error:
"Cannot open repomd.xml file...."
the file seems to be located in the repodata directory...
I'm using the following .cf taken directly from the CentOS 4.4 install :
install

"Not using downloaded epel/repomd.xml"
Hi,
I'm regularly getting spammed by my own servers, with the following message:
/etc/cron.hourly/0yum-hourly.cron:
Not using downloaded epel/repomd.xml because it is older than what we have:
Current : Sat Sep 12 19:05:04 2020

How can I make this nonsense stop?
Cheers,
Niki

Ubuntu und R
Hallo Zusammen,
hatte gestern die Schnauze voll von Vista und habe mir daraufhin Ubuntu
installiert. Bin also mit Ubuntu ?berhaupt nicht vertraut.
Nun habe ich ohne Erfolg versucht, R zu installieren.
Soweit ich der Anleitung folgen konnte habe ich es so wie auf
http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/R gemacht.
Im Terminal kann ich R problemlos starten.

Yam not generating repomd.xml
I think I have obeyed the docs. Metadata in yam conf says repomd
(formerly createrepo but led to "unexisting --update option" message).
Conf is otherwise pretty close to examples. I have downloaded Centos
4.4 ISOs, I have done yam -gv, ISO files are correctly mounted and
published via HTTP, etc but no xml files are generated anywhere under
/var/www/yam. What am I overlooking? Can I have

Local yum mirror and repomd.xml
Hey,
So, I'm having a minor issue. Today, I configured one of our CentOS systems
to use our local mirror (mirror.clarkson.edu) for its repositories. After
doing this, I ran a yum update and received the following warning in the
output along with the updates available:
