Video from the CentOS Dojo at CERN now available
The videos from the recent #CentOSDojo at #CERN are now available on the
CentOS YouTube channel. If you have time for only one, be sure to watch
the first video, which talks about the challenges that CERN has with the
enormous amount of data they produce every day in the LHC.
Also recommended, Fabian's discussion of the coming (and already in
place!) changes to the CentOS Git infrastructure.

CentOS 8 Artwork needed
To all the artists and designers here, we need your help.
With RHEL 8 beta released, we need to start producing artwork for CentOS
8. It's time for the CentOS Artwork SIG, and anyone else that's
interested in contributing to this effort, to start working on
everything that will be needed for the new release.
What we know we need is anaconda artwork, and new desktop backgrounds to

Do you blog about CentOS?
Do you blog about CentOS? Or about Linux in general? We need your voice.
As mentioned on
https://blog.centos.org/2018/04/seven-centos-org-is-dead-long-life-to-blog-centos-org/
this morning, authentication for blog.centos.org is tied to
accounts.centos.org (through OpenID). So if you have a CentOS account,
you have an account on the blog server. We would love to have your
articles there -

If you use CentOS in your organization, we'd love to hear how you're
making the world a better place. The Call for Papers for the pre-FOSDEM
Dojo is now open, and we're especially looking for case studies of how
you're using CentOS to do your job.
Thanks!

Happy Birthday portable OpenSSH!
It was one year ago today that I released a patch to get OpenSSH
compiling on Linux. I had no idea just how much trouble releasing that
patch would get me into :)
Within days I was inundated with patches, improvements and portability
enhancements - contributions which have made portable OpenSSH the
success it is today.
So allow me to thank the current developers and all of you who have

[CentOS-devel] Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
Bumping this thread in the hopes that we can get an official opinion
from someone on the board.
In particular, the guidelines at
https://wiki.centos.org/ArtWork/Brand/Logo seem to indicate that we're
not supposed to use the logo without the wordmark, but we do that all
the time, even on official swag. What's the official ruling, and who can
we go to for further clarification?
