Gateway question
Hi There is a Centos 7 up-to-date box with 2 interfaces, let's say 192.168.1.12 - enp2s0, 192.168.1.13 on enp3s0. Default gateway on enp2s0. The gateway is pfsense, IP is 192.168.1.1 with 2 WAN connections On the gateway the outgoing traffic is routed by source ip to different WAN, 192.168.1.12 to WAN1 and 192.168.1.13 to WAN2 On the centos box are set all the route and routing rules:

system-config-display wrongly sets up Viewsonic VG730m monitor
I originally set up this monitor with an analogue lead. Everything seemed fine, so I didn't check xorg.conf at all. Then I bought a digital lead, and since then the monitor blinks. Running system-config-display identifies it as a 1280 x 1084 CRT monitor. It is an LCD monitor. That model is not on the drop-down list, so assuming that a specific driver wasn't available for it, I

CentOS 7 and 4K display
I installed C7 along with MATE desktop... My monitor is a 4K unit but when I goto the System -> preferences -> hardware -> Displays there is selection for the 4K display. It stops at 1920x1080. The var log x file shows the 4K resolutions in the file so that is good. How do I get the selections for 4K to show up? Thanks, Jerry

macvtap and tagged VLANs to the VM
Hi, I would like to run a network firewall as a VM on a KVM host. There are ~ 25 VLANs delivered to the KVM host on three dedicated links, no LACP or other things. I have the VLANs 100-180 on the host's enp1s0, the VLANs 200-280 on the host's enp2s0 and the VLANs 300-380 on the host's enp3s0. To save myself from configuring all VLANs on the KVM host, I'd like to hand the entire

NV43: Native resolution not available on Dell 2007FP
I have a Dell 2007FP monitor. NV43 (GeForce 6600) can not use the native resolution. 1600x1200 is listed under "DDC gathered Modelines" with the rest of the info, but then is missing from "probed modes". I have a secondary card, NV4a (GeForce 6200, PCI). It works with this card. This card does not show "DDC gathered modelines" at all, and 1600x1200 is listed

New monitor weirdnesses (CentOS 5.11)
I just got a new monitor for my desktop system (the old one died after *many* years of service). The new monitor is a high res 16:9 monitor, but the VESA video driver insists on using 1024x768 (which was the resolution of the *old* monitor). It does seem to detect higher, 16:9 resolutions but it is not using them. I *think* I need to set some low-level video mode thing, but it has been a
