Building mod_suphp on Centos 7
I've downloaded the tarball. When I run ./configure, I get
[sdstern at cumberland suphp-0.7.2]$ ./configure
configure: error: cannot find install-sh, install.sh, or shtool in
config "."/config
I've installed libtool, autoconf and automake. shtool and install-sh are
installed.
Any clues on how to get this to configure?
Or does anyone know of a repo where I can get an rpm for

IUS not pulling latest PHP packages
Hi,
I am running CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core) and have enabled both
epel and ius repository
- ius-release-2-1.el7.ius.noarch
- epel-release-7-14.noarch
IUS not pulling the latest PHP packages. I have ran yum clean metadata
and yum clean all commands but no luck.
The latest version is *7.4.33*
# php -v
PHP 7.4.30 (cli) (built: Jun 10 2022 16:22:42) ( NTS )

IUS not pulling latest PHP packages
Hello,
looking at the metadata for EPEL and IUS, neither seem to carry PHP 7.4.
It is EOL anyway, so you should migrate to PHP 8.
To find out where your current PHP comes from try something like:
# rpm -qf /usr/bin/php
# rpm -qi php
I would recommend you switch to Remi's repo and upgrade to PHP 8:
https://rpms.remirepo.net/
Kind regards,

CentOS repo issue
I just built these servers, and the other admin added some more packages,
then we moved them into the datacenter.
I see errors from a cron job,
Could not get metalink
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=x86_64 error
was
14: curl#6 - "Could not resolve host: mirrors.fedoraproject.org; Unknown
error"
So I logged on, and ran yum list apcupsd, to see if it was

I broke "yum update" - C7
This evening I decided to do some work on my development C7 system. As I have not touched it for a while, and wanted to install new services I thought I'd better yum update first.
I saw that it only did updates from Google and PHP, and none from the system repo's so I had a closer look. It showed certificate errors on a number of repo's.
[root at stan2 ~]# yum update

Oracle Apps on Linux
Hi folks,
I seem to remember someone asking how to install Oracle Apps on Linux so
here goes a quick and dirty how-to:-
0 - You will need access to Metalink (Oracle's support site) for
downloading patches and read documentation on line.
1 - Size up your Linux box to at least 1Gb memory and 200Gb of disk space.
I'm assuming you have a Pentium 4 at around 3GHz.

Network guru please help: baffled by missing file
The mirrorlist entry in my Fedora-11 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-update.repo
reads:
mirrorlist=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=updates-released-
f$releasever&arch=$basearch
As far as I can see, this means that yum is looking for
the file metalink at mirrors.fedoraproject.org ?
If I try "sudo yum update" I get:

A repo with latest httpd for http2?
Is there a well-run package repo that has httpd-2.4.17 or mod_http2 (or
mod_h2)?
I'd like to try out http2 without having to compile my own httpd.
