Curl spec file
Thanks! I can try to modify that for my needs.
Any idea where can I find a list of patches? I'll look for centos specific ones that I might want to apply.
The spec file you shared has a few upstream patches as well as Fedora specific ones. I wonder does one knows which patches should be applied to each release, do they publish it somewhere?
Roee.

CentOS 7.1.1503 + Dovecot + IPA
Hi Everyone,
I'm running an IPA server on CentOS 7 successfully and now I want to
change my Dovecot setup to use GSSAPI for IMAP authentication instead
of a flat "userdb" file. I've already joined the Dovecot box to the IPA
domain - ssh and ipa policies and all that are working properly.
I read a number of articles on how to configure Dovecot for GSSAPI auth
and they all said

openSSH versions
Hi,
I notice here:
https://www.openssh.com/releasenotes.html
That the versions always have a <number> and a <number>p1.
Does the p1 indicate a patch? So does it mean that <number> and <number>p1 are two different versions?
It doesn?t describe the differences between the two in case they are different versions.
I would appreciate some clarification.
Thanks,
Roee.

mapping with username: "user@domain" failed
Hi All,
When trying to map my SAMBA share from WinXP, it prompted me for name
and password but it failed when I used name@domain.com
However, using "domain\name" worked.
Any idea why my SAMBA server didn't accept this name style name@domain
?
Assume: Realm (AD domain): domain.com
Pre-windows2000: domain
Username: name
Samba server: 3.0.7 (soon will switch to latest)

C6 Firefox 45.1 segmentation faults
I also have this problem. Am still running previous FF version.
So ffmpeg appears to be at fault, need to see if it's a version thing or something.

Oracle java RPM
Hi Everyone,
Years ago the recommended way to install Sun's java was to install from
the tar.gz file because the RPM they supplied did some bad things
(clobbered other files or something...can't remember the details). Is
this still the case with Oracle's java RPM, or is it now safe to
install?

playing DVDs on C7
Hi all!
I'm trying to finish setting up my newly upgraded C7 system.
It's on the same hardware I ran C6 on for several years. on C6 I had no
trouble playing DVDs (after installing tons of packages and libdvdcss).
Well, on C7, I've got totem (videos) and all its plugins I can find
via yum, VLC (from nux) all the gstreamer and gstreamer1 packages I
can find, everything with

Mail Server Guides
Hello All,
I need to set up a new mail server to replace an aging CentOS 6.3 mail server. I was wondering what were some of the best guides on the web for Postfix (Maildir), Spamassassin, ClamAV, Dovecot?
