Cannot scan to network share from Canon
The server is using centos-release-7-6.1810.2.el7.centos.x86_64. After an automatic yum update on the morning of 4th December 2018 from samba-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64 to samba-4.8.3-4.el7.x86_64 we can no longer scan from a Canon Aficio MP 301 to a network share (guest allowed). Scanning to windows machines works fine.

Updating 7.5->7.6
I've got a user with a legacy NVidia card. I've got kmod-nvidia. Last time I did an update, all I did was yum update --disableexcludes. how to update ucode with xen
it is working thx a lot... but it has included the GenuineIntel.bin only in actually used kernel... do I need to reinstall microcode_ctl every time I update the kernel? And second question, I quess I still need the ucode = scan as xen parameter right? Am 2018-09-19 20:08, schrieb Kevin Stange: > On 9/19/18 1:55 AM, Christoph wrote: >> >> Hi >> >> can someone say me

yum update / kernal update failed - remove or repair
I have a VPS running C7. I ran a 'yum update' which included a kernel update. The yum update wasn't a total success because mariadb updates failed. However everything else appeared to work. However, when I rebooted the server it did not restart. I have managed to get the ISP's support desk to boot the server by selecting the previous kernel, and I now have access to my box again.

Hi List, I am trying to understand what After= means in a unit file. Does it mean after the specified target is up and operational or only that the target has been started? I have something that needs postgres but postgres needs to be operational not just started. Sometimes it can take a bit for postgres to become operational. Thanks, Steve

I encourage this behavior, however, elrepo kmod packages often have the kernel version hard-coded into it, so you'd need to either edit the
