Install Questions
This is my situation: I've a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T machine with 2 - ISA DVD drives and 6 - SATA Drives.? The drives are (I assume by the BIOS) assigned /dev/ sda through /dev/sdf. In order to do a specific definition easily I use CentOS 6 (what disks are used with RAID-1 and which ones are used with RAID-10) and what the /dev/mdx names to use. What I don't understand is why when I

LVM problem after adding new (md) PV
Hello, I have a weird problem after adding new PV do LMV volume group. It seems the error comes out only during boot time. Please read the story. I have couple of 1U machines. They all have two, four or more Fujitsu-Siemens SAS 2,5" disks, which are bounded in Raid1 pairs with Linux mdadm. First pair of disks has always two arrays (md0, md1). Small md0 is used for booting and the rest - md1

Obviously this didn't work and the array wouldn't mount and

grub To grub2 Migration
I'm trying to move to CentOS 7.? One of my concerns is how to make the changes to grub that supports booting from either of the disk partitions that make up /dev/md0 (/dev/sda1 and /dev/sdb1) or whatever it would be under CentOS 7. Is there some document or tutorial available on making the move from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7? -- Eugene Poole Woodstock, Georgia
