6.8 CR Packages
We should have the CR packages, that will eventually be turned into the full 6.8 point release and ISO set, to the QA team today for testing. I expect that it will take 1 to 2 days in QA and then those will be ready for release into the 6.7/cr/ repository. That means that no later than Monday, May 16th (and maybe as early as sometime within the next 24 hours), the CR packages, including the

Continuous Release (CR) Repository has been released for CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 for X86_64, i386, armhfp, aarch64, power9, ppc64le
We have pushed the CR repository for CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 for following architectures: x86_64 i386 armhfp aarch64 power9 ppc64le We are currently still working on the ppc64 / ppc architecture as we are having issues with some of the 32bit ppc mulitlib builds. CR is basically the packages that will update your install from CentOS Linux 7.5.1804 to 7.6.1810, minus the centos-release rpm and the

CR repo update disaster for my desktop.
Sorry for top post, my android BlueMail will not let me insert at the bottom. I have found that tracker-extract seems to trigger a segfault. I note this is not updated in CR, but comes from base. Removal of tracker seems too harsh as it has dependant modules like brasero, evince, grilo, nautilus and totem. Maybe there is an obscure relationship in tracker that need attention. Stumpped. ?Sent

389 Directory Server broken on CentOS 7

The only time CR is normally populated is for a small time before a new release is done .. and it is populated with packages that will go into the new release. Right now, for example, CR is empty:

[attachment_fu] Allways triggering after_attachment_saved callback
Hi, I use attachment_fu in one of my apps and recently I''ve realized that udpates are taking too much time. After some debugging I''ve found that attachment_fu is calling after_attachment_saved callback no mather if attachemnt has changed or not. For example this code: after_attachment_saved do |photo| logger.info "after_attachment_saved" end # in console - always

Nested Virtualization on Google Cloud.
I am using nested virtualization on a Google Cloud Compute instance. Things are generally working fine with libvirt using qemu+kvm, however I observed that <cpu mode='host-model'> is not exposing avx and avx2 instruction set to the guest Linux instance. Google Cloud platform claims the CPU model of the host compute instance is Broadwell, however libvirt capabilities maps it to

389 Directory Server broken on CentOS 7
Le 15/08/2019 ? 14:51, Ulf Volmer a ?crit?: > Could you post the output of > > yum info 389-adminutil I just installed a vanilla CentOS 7.6 on a sandbox machine. Left configuration as is. Upgraded system : yum update. Configured EPEL without customizing anything. And all the 389-related packages installed successfully. So I guess the problem comes from my base configuration.

[PATCH] Annotate shapes, text and dbus support
Here are my patches to add extra shapes to the annotate plugin. I have also added dbus support and made a few things configurable. The new tools available are Line, Rectangle and Circle, the original is called Brush. There is no selection line at the moment because I do not understand OpenGL yet. Hopefully these patches can be added and something added later. There is an extra action called

[PATCH] ia64/pv_ops: paravirtualized istruction checker.
This patch implements a checker to detect instructions which should be paravirtualized instead of direct writing raw instruction. This patch does rough check so that it doesn't fully cover all cases, but it can detects most cases of paravirtualization breakage of hand written assembly codes.
