Permission denied error on private key...
I have a working dovecot/postfix/mysql server running and was trying to set up another one for replication purposes. If I copy my certificates from the working server, everything works fine. However, I purchased another updated certificate for the replication server, and I cannot get dovecot to start up. Keep getting:

Hello Mike,
Yes, I am using a static IP address, but in theory, you could use a
dynamic one.
Nothing technically would prevent email exchanges between two boxes, as
long as the SPF records are up to date and the DKIM is properly setup.
Unfortunately, some ISPs are simply blacklisting full range of private
IP addresses just because they are not officials / commercials.
Kind regards,
Andr?

Thunderbird can not import S/MIME certificate
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
Hi,
in May 2015 I reported [0] that I can not import my S/MIME
certificate. Issuer is GlobalSign.
Jan Horak reassigned it to the nss guys ("This seems to be problem in
NSS code, reassigning to nss component"), but then the ticket idled
and was eventually closed by EOL of Fedora 21 (though I stated it
persists with F22).
I just reopened

Hello everyone,
I have been using Postfix and Dovecot for my personal emails for years.
After being tired of reinstalling my personal mail server many times, I
am currently writing some Ansible scripts to do it automatically.
I obviously checked the other projects, and did not found anything close
to what I am looking for, so I am implementing it now.
The final goal is to have a box that once

How do Cerbot files map to Dovecot?
I am postponing the Apache plugin issue (CentOS is not Certbot friendly)
and requesting a standalone, generic certificate. After the command "1:
Spin up a temporary webserver" I have the following 2 files in the
folder /etc/letsencrypt:

I have dovecot postfix setup on my home server as well. I use a virtual
server in the cloud as my mx record and mail relay and have my home record
on dynamic dns. It's really effective.

Which part? Hosting the email server at home or the relay in the cloud?

Header DATE field not returned when placed after MIME section
Hello,
I am using Dovecot 2.2.34p0 on OpenBSD 6.3 stable.
I am writting an application using the vmime (http://www.vmime.org)
library (x-ref issue: https://github.com/kisli/vmime/issues/199).
I noticed through testing over my own e-mail server that in some
situations the DATE field is not returned upon ENVELOPE or
HEADER.FIELDS request.
The e-mails at fault happen to have the DATE field at the

Sieve "foreverypart" and "mime" extensions (RFC 5703) now implemented
Hi,
I have finally managed to implement the Sieve "foreverypart" and "mime"
extensions (RFC 5703). These are now included in the main Mercurial
repository and will be included in the next release.
I will be fixing a few minor details in the coming week; e.g.,
interaction with "include" and "editheader" extensions needs more work.
Still, in the mean time,

HTTPS certificates (off topic)
How do I get a valid certificate for a box that is behind a firewall and
does not have a DNS entry?
I was looking at letsencrypt.org but currently it looks like a valid DNS
entry is needed, of which I don't have.
There is nothing special about my setup, its just a box that is not
directly on the internet, no DNS entry but I need HTTPS to run correctly.
How do I generate a trusted

Thank you,
I remember to had a look at this project, and I found it huge.
I started mine because I want LDAP authentication.
I also wanted less features / programs, less obtrusive, and better
attention to small details, like automatic DKIM generation and DNS updates.
I hope not to end up with something as huge.
