Not the answer you want but xfreerdp has worked for me where rdesktop no longer does (I take because of the new security settings) xfreerdp /bpp:16 /size:1200x720 /u:"raubvogel" /v:hostname:port On Mon, Nov 12, 2018 at 5:11 AM <me at tdiehl.org> wrote: > > On Sun, 11 Nov 2018, Fred Smith wrote: > > > I have a win10 VM in virtualbox on my Linux (C7) desktop. RDP for Centos 7
Hi, Does anyone know of a good program for doing RDP to windows servers on C-7? The "Remote desktop viewer" program that comes with C7 is not reliable for me. I frequently have multiple long running RDP sessions and the keyboard will stop responding. The only way I can find to get it started again is to restart the program and login to the servers again. In addition, I cannot find a

Hi all, I'm trying to connect to a remote Widnows server from my CentOS 5.2 / KDE 3.5.4-11, but everytime I try and connect I get the following error: Could not start rdesktop: make sure rdesktop is properly installed And I connect using krdc rdp:/remote.host.name - but I also tried krdc rdp:/ 1.2.3.4 from the command line. hi everyone I realise this not exactly on topic, I'm hoping an expert or two could confirm that following is not caused somehow by samba: I try xfreerdp to connect to a Win10 which is a member of NT-style domain and it fails this way: [14:55:33:905] [8048:8055] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.nla] - SPNEGO failed with NTSTATUS: 0xC0000017 [14:55:33:905] [8048:8055] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core] -

can't access remote Windows 2008 desktop via Krdc / Remote Desktop
Hi all, Does anyone know why CentOS 5.+3 + latest KDE won't connect to a Windows 2008 server via Remote Desktop, yet it will work on a Windows 2003 server? I can easily connect to a Windows 2003 server, using rdp:/196.34.x.x and login and use the Windows 2003 server. But when I try the same with a Widows 2008 server, it just fails. I see if connecting, and then it "dies" without
