I will not be running any updates, because I need to keep a specific old
version for software compatibility. I don't know which ISO the USB stick
was made from.

For a specialized software, we have to wait for the developers to certify
each new OS. They are still recommending 7.3. One reason in particular is
that 7.5 has a fix for Meltdown and Spectre, which known to reduce
performance. This machine will be

Trouble installing with Nvidia card
Hi all,
I'm having trouble doing a fresh install of CentOS 7.3. I'm using the DVD
installer ISO, burned to a USB flash drive. The system is a Supermicro
7048 with four Nvidia Titan Xp GPUs, and I have the monitor connected to
the first GPU. In the BIOS, VGA priority is set to Offboard, so I am
seeing POST messages (good).
The CentOS installer begins and shows a few messages on my

Installer says I've run out of disc space
Hi, I'm trying to install a MUD client on my macbook pro with wine. It's called portal, you can get it here:
http://www.gameaxle.com/portal_full.html
I used my windows computer to make the file self-extract, then I copied the folder that had setup.exe inside it to my macbook pro desktop. I then double-clicked setup.exe and it opened with wine.
I was able to get through the install, when

Dovecot 1.0.7 domain variable
Hi all,
Thanks in advance for any help!
I'm trying to configure Dovecot to pull emails from Postfix virtual mailbox domain Maildirs under /var/mail/vhosts/<domain>/<username>. I've set mail_location as such in dovecot.conf:
mail_location = maildir:/var/mail/vhosts/%d/%n
but from debug output I see the domain is blank:

How are you capturing the audio-in?

Thanks, Jos? and Elliott. I can help with reviews.
I attach here a list of batches of CRAN packages to be rebuilt in
order (batches separated by a blank line), and the script that
generates it. Hope it helps.

Anyone using ffmpeg as a source-client?
I'm just wondering if ffmpeg is a reliable Icecast source-client -- a
"pusher" to send a stream to an Icecast server and runs 24/7/365 dependably.

O2CB_HEARTBEAT_THRESHOLD won't take changes
Hello All,
I have multiple OCFS2 clusters on SLES10 SP2 running Xen. We needed to increase the O2CB_HEARTBEAT_THRESHOLD from 31 up to 61 and did so successfully on 2 of our 3 clusters.
However on one of the three clusters we are not able to change the value. The /etc/sysconfig/o2cb file contains 61 as the threshold after reconfiguring via /etc/init.d/o2cb configure, we reconfigure all 3 nodes at

Icecast install under Windows
Hi Marvin,
I followed the wiki instructions and they went w/o any issues until
C:\Users\username> nssm start Icecast
Can't open service!
OpenService(): Access is denied!
Probably a good idea to mention that the command window needs to be Run
as administrator. Then it works.
Many thanks!

Icecast install under Windows
Oh dear.
Okay, can anyone suggest how to install Icecast under Windows as a
service, and to be able to bring up some kind of console to start/stop it?
I can launch Icecast using the installed .bat file, but it's clunky.

Pathing syntax for icecast.xml in Windows
Marvin,
Ah, thank you for clarifying where "webroot" is.
The application here will be a non-public stream with one listener
client. Icecast is hosted on a computer at our radio station. It will
receive a stream from a stream client at a remote live music event.
There will be one listener: a media player running on another computer
on the network at the station which will send the
