Why are ForeignSecurityPrincipals and Managed Service Accounts empty with no entries?
I am just thinking it could be an integrated LDAP issue rather than a DNS issue. ________________________________ From: Turritopsis Dohrnii Teo En Ming <ceo at teo-en-ming-corp.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2020 9:36 PM To: sambalist <samba at lists.samba.org>; Rowland penny <rpenny at samba.org> Cc: Turritopsis Dohrnii Teo En Ming <ceo at teo-en-ming-corp.com>

Why are ForeignSecurityPrincipals and Managed Service Accounts empty with no entries?
Hi Rowland, I tried your suggested /etc/named.conf. ForeignSecurityPrincipals and Managed Service Accounts are still empty in Active Directory Users and Computers. Is it more of an integrated LDAP issue than a DNS issue?? I also noticed that Network Manager keeps overwriting my /etc/resolv.conf. Is there a way to solve this secondary issue? Thank you. ________________________________ From:

Why are ForeignSecurityPrincipals and Managed Service Accounts empty with no entries?
Good evening from Singapore, I have just setup Samba 4.11.6 and CentOS 8.1 as Active Directory Domain Controller. I had a quick look. At 3:31, the last line. Dnsupdate_namedupdate_done: FAILED.... On the AD-DC, your showing bind9 as resolving I suggest, verified if bind_DLZ is enabled. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End And check: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_AppArmor_and_SELinux_Integration Greetz, Louis > -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- > Van:

Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP?
Dear Richard Grainger, I am grateful for your reply and guidance. After reading the following article at nginx.com, I realize that I should use a reverse proxy instead of a load balancer. Article: WHAT IS A REVERSE PROXY VS. LOAD BALANCER? Link: https://www.nginx.com/resources/glossary/reverse-proxy-vs-load-balancer/ Presently, I am using pfSense community edition firewall. Can I configure CentOS 8.1 1911 as an Active Directory Domain Controller like a Windows Server?
Hi, Thank you for your prompt reply. The guide which you have shared looks very detailed. I have also found another guide at samba.org but not very sure whether it is good. Which is better? Microsoft Exchange 2016 or Linux-based SMTP Servers?
Good evening from Singapore, I am torn between deploying Microsoft Exchange 2016 and Linux-based SMTP servers like sendmail, postfix, qmail and exim. Relative ease of installation and configuration is an important consideration factor. Microsoft Exchange 2016, Domain Controller, and Active Directory are relatively easy to install and configure. Linux-based SMTP servers are extremely difficult

CentOS 8.0 1905 is now available for download
I feel your pain re Gnome. Installing CentOS 8 on a VMware VM which uses BIOS boot mode using the graphical installer results in an installer gui which is chopped off at the right. Workaround is to select the install option, hit the tab key, and append vga=819 and hit F10, which starts the graphical installer on a larger virtual display. Or, better still, use EFI boot mode for your VM, and it
