write a bunch of objects to files
Hello all,
I've got a bunch of objects I'd like to write to .csv files. For example,
I have objects conveniently called
n002.csv
n001.csv
p103.csv
.
.
.
I tried a loop:
> for(i in ls(pattern="csv"))
+write.table(i, file=i, sep=",", quote=F)
That, of course, wrote out a bunch of files that contained
x
1, n002.csv
Or the like.
How can I get i in the loop above

Can I set up VMs in a "Flat" network?
Our small network is 10.10.11.0/24, gateway 10.10.11.252. dhcp is set up.
I'm using virt-manager to install VM's with kvm-qemu on an F14 host -
10.10.11.100.
qemu-kvm-0.13.0-0.6.rc1.fc14.x86_64
libvirt-0.8.3-2.fc14.x86_64
I'd like all the VM's to be on the same network as the physical
machines with an address range of 10.10.11.110-10.10.11.130.
I have virt-net set up. ifconfig

creating Kerberos host principals for multiple hostnames, multihomed server
Hi!
I maintain Linux servers that are members of a Samba4 Domain.
User authentication / login via ssh works fine with Kerberos.
But: only via one hostname.
Those machines need a working Kerberos login via multiple hostnames
(each hostname has its own IP address and DNS is set up correctly.)
"net ads keytab list" of course gives me the main hostname that was in
use when joining the

Samba ADS member: using local groups
Hi.
I have problems using local groups on a SAMBA ADS member. I encountered
the problem when I switched from Fedora Core 4 to Fedora Core 5.
I'm using the FC5 samba-3.0.22-1.fc5 package.
The SELinux is set to permissive mode (SELINUX=permissive), so this should
not cause problems.
I'm using same scripts for generating group mapping and add users to
groups, as I used on FC4.

how can I get authenticate from my own server?
I'm used to seeing fraudulent attempts to authenticate, But now I'm
getting them from the server itself.
I have an asterisk server behind a firewalled router. The local subnet
is 10.10.10.0/24, the server is 10.10.10.100.
Now I'm seeing in the log lots of:
Failed to authenticate device
<*>00<sip:<*>00 at 10.10.10.100:5060>;tag=9c565e6e
How can this happen?

Problems with Windows on KVM machine
Hello. We've started a virtualisation project and got stuck in one moment.
Currently we are using the following:
Intel 2312WPQJR as a node
Intel R2312GL4GS as a storage with Intel Infiniband 2 ports controller
Infiniband Mellanox SwitchX IS5023 for commutation.
The nodes run CentOS 6.5 with built-in Infiniband package (Linux v0002
2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64), the storage - CentOS 6.4 also built-in

SIP and Voice on different nets
?I have connection with two networks (by VoIP provider setup)
1 - 10.10.10.0/24 = SIP
2 - 10.10.11.0/24 = Voice
How to tell Asterisk send / receive voice traffic not on SIP network. When
I look into dumps, I see Asterisk trying to use SIP net for voice
Unfortunately, I _need_ to use two networks instead of one?

Can authenticate but cannot mount shares
Hello Experts,
I am trying to migrate a Samba 3.6 server to Samba 4.19.
The OS of the old server is FreeBSD 10.3 and the new one is FreeBSD
14.1.
The client computers are Win 10 Pro.
Simple Samba configuration, no need for Active Directory, just a file
server with user authentication.
On the Windows computer I try to mount the shares from the new server
as \\[new server IP address].

I don't see where you're opening the file twice from one smbclient
below. Am I missing something?
