WRT mailing the password in clear text .. how else would it mail it? Mailman does not store any kind of encryption keys for email, and frankly, most people don't know how to use encrypted email. This list probably has a (much) higher percentage of people who would know how to use encrypted mail (ie, Linux users .. who are more computer literate than the average person). But, I don't

ext3 patch for 2.4.6 (plain or ac1)
Does the ext3 patch applies on top of the newly released 2.4.6 kernel (and/or the 2.4.6-ac1 variant) ? I want to upgrade to the new kernel and wanted to know before I run into problems if there are any known problems and if it's better to wait for an 'official' release. Thanks. Team Person Team has various positions (manager, programmer etc.) I would like each one of those positions to reference one or more Person records. A single Person record could be on 6 different teams at the same time in different roles. the same person could even be on the same team multiple times

Complex SQL in paginate command?
Hi all, Is there a way to create pagination with a complex SQL, more complex than the :conditions option will support? I have two databases, houses and images. Houses has_many images, and each Image belongs_to house. I''m creating a search engine for the house records and I''d like to be able to filter out all the houses without any associated images.
