Do you have any excludes in /etc/yum.conf? We had an issue about a year

OK. I fixed this case just by dismounting the share before hibernate,
but I'll leave this here anyway. Just a historic note or something ;)

Software RAID on Centos-4/Proliant ML330 (FINAL)
Thanks again to everyone who offered help with this - I have ended up with
one drive on the integrated MegaRAID controller and one on the ITE8212
plug-in card and this works fine.

CentOS 6.8 with current kernel fails with pm-hibernate (cifsd refuses to freeze)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Now, this is not apparently very common to CentOS or EL server, but I
need to hibernate one of myservers after a batch job daily. Current
kernel appears to fail with pm-hibernate now.

HP Proliant ML G6 problem.
Hi all.
I try to install CentOS 4 x64 on HP Proliant ML G6. Anaconda doesn't
correctly recognise the DVD-RW drive despite the fact that the installation
starts from it. Also when I choose network (HTTP/FTP) installation type the
ethernet card isn't correctly recognized. On HP website there aren't any
drivers to use during installation only rpms and source rpms which (as I
think) are

HP ML330 install
Greetings:
HP has drivers for the this controler but how do you get the drivers
working for the install on Centos 4.0 ?
Integrated Dual Channel Ultra ATA 100 IDE Adapter (ATA Models)
I extracted the files from this RPM and placed on a CD.
hpacucli-7.21-17.linux.rpm
boot with the driver disk option and it does not find drivers.
I'm I on the right track?
Thanks

Updating 7.5->7.6
I've got a user with a legacy NVidia card. I've got kmod-nvidia. Last time
I did an update, all I did was yum update --disableexcludes. This time, it

9.2-RC4 amd64 panic: vm_page_unwire
I'm running 9.2-RC4 on a handful of desktop and server machines (both
i386 and amd64). I have seen three panics (all vm_page_unwire) on one
of those systems only (amd64 server) during the past week.
The first two panics were triggered when shutting down the ntpd daemon
(a recent development snapshot version of ntpd: 4.2.7p387). Exiting a
later release (p388) has not triggered the panic.

CentOS 7 on HP DL160 G6
I am running the latest updated version of CentOS on a HP DL160 G6 server as a workstation with the Mate desktop, not Gnome. The only expansion card I have installed is a MSI Geforce GT710 graphics card driving two monitors.
Unfortunately the computer locks up at random intervals: neither the mouse nor the keyboard work and I lose the SSH connection to the computer I have used to see if the

install 5.5 x86-64 on DL320 G6
I am trying to install on a DL320 proliant.
The disk is not being recognized. It fails when setting up disk with "no
devices" found.
I dont get an sda or cciss either one.
I tried to disable the on board smart array controller? That didnt seem
to make a difference.
Is there something special I need to do?
Thanks,
jerry

Anything in /var/log/mcelog?
Is the "edac" module running?
Does that model support bundle include any Intel MCA files?

Hi list!
I have a little question about groups and Asterisk ... is there anyone out there that can say if Asterisk can do any of this;
We have a customer that want call handling we cant give him with a traditional PBX, and I'm running Asterisk @home so I thought I could give it a try ...
The customer wants that incoming call should go to one group with some phones in it, if the group is

**££!!*** Proliant!
This Proliant (ml330 G3) has an HP CSB-6 (LSI/Megaraid) disk controller that
isn't recognised by the installer.
A quick search on Google reveals drivers from RH7 - AS2.1 but nothing for 3
or 4 unless anyone knows different!? If not I'll just have to disable it and
install a supported RAID card.
Anyone!?
