I am using AMI to call a phone and play a wave file. That works fine to SIP/401. Now I am trying to "redirect" that call that is ringing to another phone (SIP/404). When I do it the other phone rings but the first phone continues to ring also. Then when I answer on SIP/404, I get a ring not the wave file. I was doing an update to 7.4 and somewhere in middle the machine died. If I drop back to a previous kernel the machine is alive. So how do I say "forget the previous yum update" and start all over and do it again. Booting into the new kernel I get a kernel fault. So going back one level on teh boot screen solves that - I just need to start the update again. How is that? Thanks, Jerry

Hi All - I have a Dell R430 server running CentOS 7.5 that is dropping packets on the network. Its connected to Cisco switch at AUTO for the port. The server reports 1000M on the network. I even changed the setting for the switch to 1000M full, that did not seem to make a difference either. What else might I look at as to why its dropping packets? Is there a command that will monitor a process for exiting (crash or normal exit) and then execute another command based on the said process no longer being active? I am experiencing an issue that my process does not wake out of a select() call when a single character is received in an input file descriptor when running as a VMware guest. Anyone ever experienced this ? I can run tshark and see the character arrive, but my process does not wake up and see that character. Most times it works - but once in a while it does not.
