Yum refuses to install kmod-8188eu from elrepo
I am having trouble using the realtek wifi chip in my new tp-link usb wifi dongle. Upon plugging it, the device gets registered by the kernel (in /var/log/messages), but that's about it, no network device is being created (iwconfig does not see it, nothing else works). A few google searches later I found out that this realtek chip is not supported by the kernel and requires a driver, and that

Large file (over 4Gb) transfer problem from Windows to Samba 4.7 on CentOS 7.5
Dear All, Previously I setup CentOS 5 Samba server and everything fine But now I install CentOS 7.5 setup Samba 4.7.1 and faced the following problem . When I file less than 4 Gb ... all OK. But when I transferred file larger than 4 Gb, Samba truncated to 4Gb exactly and Windows OS side see as zero byte file. In CentOS7, can see as 4 Gb but file was corrupted Let me know what the problem could be

Enable vblank_disable_immediate on more drivers.
This patch series sets dev->vblank_disable_immediate = true on radeon/amdgpu-kms, nouveau-kms for nv50+, and vc4 for the real kms driver (as opposed to dispmanx firmware backed kms). Hi All, I have a marvel chipset for my wired laptop connection. It uses the kmod-sk98lin-10.93.3.3-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64.rpm driver at elrepo. kmod-nvidia-430.40-1.el7_6.elrepo.x86_64 fails to install
Everyone, On August 2, my desktop unit updated with kmod-nvidia-430.40-1.el7_6.elrepo.x86_64nnn which broke yum having a multiple of dependencies not being present. I uninstall kmod- dvidia with the hopes that a fresh install would fix the provlem, but it did not. nvidia-detect returns : kmod-nvidia An Intel display controller was also detected I was hoping that this was a repository problem
