Is the folder that you have selected inside of an account whose email address is exactly the same as the one that get's cc'ed?? I could see where if the messages were forwarded to a different email account, it would do this. If this is not the case, go into edit->preferences->advanced-config->config editor (like the about:config in firefox) and search for cc_ and see if any

network problems
We just moved a user, who deals with a *lot* of data, to a new server, since his old NFS home directory was on a disk that had started showing problems. Now, i/o is about six times slower, my manager reports. After a fair bit of googling, I started looking at tc and ip, and found the following: from ip address show, first, on the old home directory server, eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu

how to properly change the timezone
Hi, I have a Centos 5.5 server with no GUI installed. I have several times changed the timezone by copying the correct file to /etc/localtime, however something keeps changing it back. I'm not sure if this is a yum update or what. Without installing the graphical tools, how can I update the timezone in such a way that the /etc/localtime file won't keep getting clobbered. Thank

rpmbuild annoyance
I'm building a package (rasmol, if you must know) from an srpm. It's an FC20 pkg, nothing older, but the software itself hasn't changed. So... I try the build, and it fails, telling me: gcc: %__global_ldflags: No such file or directory make: *** [rasmol] Error 1 Now, this isn't a brand-new package, so I'm puzzled by the error. Is there supposed to be something I need to add to

swap labeling annoyance
I just upgraded a blade server via rsync from another server. Rebuilt the initrd. It boots fine... except that it won't turn on the swap partition. Several times, I've made sure swap was off, then mkswap -L SWAP-sda3 /dev/sda3, but when I do swapon -L SWAP-sda3, it complains it can't find the device for the label. The only thing I find while googling, other than redoing what I've

Swap space for kvm virtual host
I have a kvm virtual host running on what will become CentOS 6 with 12GB of memory and a Quad Xeon X5560 2.8Ghz . The store for virtual machines will be a software raid 6 array of 6 disks with an LVM layered on top. I'm not initially planning any major overcommitment of resources, though there could be a need for some overcommitment with a light workload on the guests. In recent years

USB install annoyances (not OT)[SOLVED]
Yet another denial - it's as though it's also blocking me based on the relationship of included text vs. new text. blah, blah, blah. Let's see if this is enough new text to get through. Language support annoyance
I've got a user that wants Japanese language support in firefox... our *stock* CentOS firefox, 24.3. I've yum installed i18, and i10, and no joy. Looked at firefox addons, and there's one, 27.0. Won't install, "not compatible". Neither is either 24.0, or 25.0. Anyone have a link to a compatible version? mark

USB install annoyances (not OT)
I've retried again, and it still fails. I see that it's mounted /dev/sda2, which is where I've got the contents of a DVD, as /mnt/isolinux. The contents of that are: ls -a . GPL TRANS.TBL .. Packages images .discinfo RELEASE-NOTES-en-US.html isolinux .treeinfo RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-6

question about software Raid 1
Does software raid 1 compare checksums or otherwise verify that the same bits are coming from both disks during reads? What I'm interested in, is whether bit errors that were somehow undetected by the hardware would be detected by the raid 1 software. Thanks, Nataraj
