Hello, Peter, thanks for your reply 1. Huawei DOES change the distribution EULA, if type in the following command: vi /usr/share/eula/eula.en_US you can see it changed to "HUAWEI EulerOS-2.0" which is a copyright one, let alone original GPL license. According to CentOS Linux EULA The Distribution is released as GPLv2. Individual packages in the distribution come with their own

Does Huawei break the license of CentOS?
Hello I have found the Docker images for the above-mentioned Euler OS. https://github.com/euleros/euleros-docker-images/blob/master/2.2/EulerOS-2.2.tar.xz https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_(software) However, after opening it, I find it to be "shared object" files. It is not the source code, which should include source file and headers. And according to the

Centos 7 License???
Today I did a yum upgrade to my kvm'ized Centos 7 test machine (perhaps a bad day to do such a thing) and received new kernel vmlinuz-3.10.0-229.1.2.el7.x86_64, among many other things. When I rebooted, I was asked to confirm (or renew, or some such) my license. My LICENSE ??? I was booting in text mode and the actions required were a) unfamiliar, and b) hard to understand. As I recall, I

vsifax on Centos 5.1
All.... I am trying to install vsifax on a 64 bit Centos 5.1 system. The Esker staff have been helpful but no cigar. At first they thought the problem might be related to a 64 bit machine so I tried to install vsifax on a 32 bit Centos 5.1 machine and received the same error. One of their installation scripts is trying to execute a binary called eula which fails. ./eula: cannot execute

Breaking out of multiple loops
Hey all, I'm currently working through the problems at Project Euler -- this question came up while working on Problem 9 (http://projecteuler.net/problem=9): "A Pythagorean triplet is a set of three natural numbers, a < b < c, for which, a^2 + b^2 = c^2. For example, 3^2 + 4^2 = 9 + 16 = 25 = 5^2. There exists exactly one Pythagorean triplet for which a + b + c = 1000. Find the

Installing R on a machine with 64-bit Opteron processors
I have been tasked with installing statistical and other data analysis applications on a new Sun Fire X4600 M2 x64 server that came equipped with eight AMD dual core Opteronn 64-bit processors. It is running the 64-bit version of Suse Linux 9. I have read through the installation docs, and I guess I don't understand what to do, or even how to identify which version, if any, of this

ACPI, Vista and Xen
Hi all, I''m running XP and 2003 Server fine as HVM guests (under a 32 bit non-pae Xen 3.0.3 self-compiled). I''ve read that Vista can *not* be /installed/ under Xen for it checks for ACPI support and install fails if it isn''t present. What if I do the install first from, say, plain Qemu (I''re reused qemu images from Xen) or VMWare (I''ve converted

[LLVMdev] running a pass on multiple files
Hi all, I am new with LLVM and I have written a pass able to analyze the code and see if functions in a module are pure. I managed to run the pass with opt -load on a simple (single file) program IR (generated with clang). Now I am willing to run it on a structured program (probably on a benchmark suite like: http://euler.slu.edu/~fritts/mediabench/) to see how many pure function are identified

Arbitrary Precision Numbers
Hi (If you're wondering, this is a Project Euler question :)) If I wanted to calculate the sum of the digits in the decimal representation of 2^1000, what would be a good way to go about that? I've tried the following methods: # Calculate the sum of digits in the decimal representation of 2^n # Only works for smaller values of n bsum <- function(n) { s <- 0 e <-

Wine + .NET: Legal?
Hi, Looking at the .NET redistributable EULA, there are things in it like this: NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID EULA FOR ANY "OS PRODUCT" (MICROSOFT WINDOWS 98, [etc etc]), YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL, COPY OR OTHERWISE USE THE OS COMPONENTS AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS UNDER THIS SUPPLEMENTAL EULA. It seems to me that this means that you can't install the .NET redistributable if
