Running COS 7.1708 on VirtualBox 5.1.28
Anyone else having issues getting the VB drivers to load on 1708?
I keep gettting an "Error: unable to find the sources of your current Linux kernel..." message.
I do have kernel-devel installed and I had no issues running 1611 on the same host.
Thanks

source routing does not work with extra ip addresses
I set up this config:
+------+
-+ ISP1 +--+
+------+ | +-------+
+--+ linux |
+------+ | +-------+
-+ ISP2 +--+
+------+
No problem. Standard setup with two ISP''s. Both routed subnets. Default
gateway is ISP1. No magic here.
Now I put a server behind the Linux box. I want the server to be
reachable on an /extra/ IP in the routed subnet of ISP2.

[PATCH] Fix NAT for domU checksum offload
Below is a fix for the current problem of checksum offload not working
in a NAT''ed network. The cause is the NAT/iptables code incorrectly
modifying the TCP/UDP checksum (for the checksum offload case). The
original code assumes a valid checksum, which is not the case for
checksum offload packets (which has a complimented, partial checksum for
the hardware to use). The fix is to

[GSoC 2018] Improve Debugging of Optimized Code
Welcome Anastasis! I'm very happy to see this work going forward.
I see that your first task is to make "debugify" into a function pass,
so we will be able to get data on a per-pass basis. At EuroLLVM there
was a relevant lightning talk about a different tool, see:
http://llvm.org/devmtg/2018-04/talks.html#Lightning_11
It will be extremely interesting to see how well your results

yes. Or more precisely: I would expect that. "Should" implies, that I
want to change something. I just want to understand the behavior (or
file a bug, if this would have been one).

What do you name yours
Hello list
we are installing 2 new servers (to run asterisk) shortly, for a
"stand alone" service. Ignoring our current naming convention, we'd
like to name them something.. but we are not sure what.
a consideration is that on the screens of the phones it shows
extension@hostname (eg 3001@telephony) (all extensions are numeric) so
the users will see it everyday
i'm not

I'm relatively new to R. I have a variable, "internet use," which ranges
from "Almost everyday, "Several times a week," "Several times a month,"
"Seldom," "Never," and "Don't know." I want to recode this data into a
new variable, say "use.internet," such that I have a dichotomous

Can Asterisk hear on two IP addresses? And can I do routing for calls from private to public or public to private IP addresses
Hi List;
Can asterisk hear (receive) calls on two IP addresses?
How?
If yes, then:
If I have a VPN router, and my Asterisk server
connected to two network cards, one has a private IP
address (192.168.0.2) connected to the VPN router
(192.168.0.1) and another network card has a private
IP address (193.111.196.249) connected directly to the
outside default gateway (193.111.196.240), where the

Hello,
Have a look at the plm package
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/plm/index.html
It has a convenient way to structure your data into panel according to some
id.
Best regards,
Jeremie

Running Photoshop on a relatively old PC
For several months I've been thinking about moving to Linux operating
system. This would resque our old machine which is getting left behind
when it comes to hardware (and it would also put fun back into
computing). The problem is that if I convert the only machine our family
has to Linux, it would mean that an important program, Photoshop, which
we use everyday has to be abandoned. This
