Centos7- WiFi not recognized - HWaddress - Or Any Idea
Hello,
I recently installed centos7+Gnome on my macbook air , at first start the wireless adaptor , which is the (infamous?) BCMA4360 , seemed to work because I was asked to choose the network and provided password, but thereafter wifi did not appear, so I can connect to the Internet only by cable. Googling a few days and checking on my computer I found the following:- the infamous wifi adapter

where to find wifi driver
Hi,
I use the wifi adaptor, Edimax AC1200, and its driver can be downloaded from 'http://www.edimax.com.tw/edimax/download/download/data/edimax/tw/download/for_home/wireless_adapters/wireless_adapters_ac1200_dual-band/ew-7822ulc'.
I fail to compile its GPL Source Code on CentOS 7.4.
Where to get its rpm drivers, or how to compile its GPL Source Code?
Thanks
Regards
Andrew

Centos7 USB wifi recommendation
I am looking for one of those very small USB wifi adapters for the
server I am working on. I am tired of dealing with the 4" long TP-LINK
I have and for my purposes, one of those little 1cm ones would do. But
which work with Linux? When I was last in the store, only the TP-LINK
said it was supported on Linux...
thanks

permissions and doveadm
I did an upgrade from OpenSUSE 13.1 to 13.2 (finally), and now doveadm
fails.
I went from an self-compiled source, to 'repsitory'-version
(from version 2.1.6, to 2.2.13)

Broadcom wireless card: installation script for Linux-STA driver
Hi,
I just installed CentOS 6.6 on my HP Pavilion DM1 laptop. The wireless
card is only poorly supported in the default setup, so I decided to
write an installation script for the Linux-STA driver, which works
perfectly.
https://github.com/kikinovak/centos/blob/master/6.x/broadcom-sta/broadcom-sta.sh
Grab the files:
# git clone https://github.com/kikinovak/centos
Run the script:
# cd

Virtual servers for 2 workgroup
Hi
My config: Samba 2.2.3 & Linux Debian Testing kernel 2.4.20
There are two network cards on my pc :
-one links to the network R1 (138.231.121.12)
-one links to the network R2 (192.168.0.1)
I would like to open two shares:
-the first one on R1 in the workgroup wkgrp1
-the second one on R2 in the workgroup wkgrp2
I read that, thanks to the directives "netbios
