Announcement: 32 bit Wine repo for RHEL and CentOS 7
Yes, I will look into getting the SRPMS up on the site (though they are
just the ones from EPEL anyway).

Announcement: 32 bit Wine repo for RHEL and CentOS 7
Shouldn't be anything overwriting Base...what do you think does so?

Semi-OT: install python package in userspace
Just had a look at scikit-learn. An issue you have with the current
version of this package is that is depends on NumPy (>= 1.8.2). The
version of NumPy in CentOS 7 base is 1.7.1. You may need to look at
building a Python virtual environment. You can google that ;)

tomcat package and repo for centos8
Hi all,
sadly there is no epel tomcat package so far.
As per
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1745960
there is no progress for three months.
Is there any other third party repository which builds tomcat for
centos/rhel 8?
Thx

Can we have the 32-bit Wine Gecko package(s) built and published to the repository: https://harbottle.gitlab.io/wine32/7/i386/ <https://harbottle.gitlab.io/wine32/7/i386/>
Seems like someone has already built

Duke Nukem MP
Hi,
I tried to install Duke Nukem Manhattan Project (which should just
run fine according to wine's appdb and frank's corner) but while
loading the msi-installer wine gets stuck and prints out these
messages:

64-bit chess engines and wine 1.2
Hi,
an interesting new feature of wine 1.2 is it's 64-bit support. Many Windows chess engines gain about 50-80% speed increase when running at 64-bit. Most provide 32-bit and 64-bit engines. But on my 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04 only an error message appears i.e. with the free Stockfish 1.8.

Semi-OT: install python package in userspace
CentOS 7 box. As there's no package in any of the repos, we're trying to
install scikit-learn in the user's space. It refuses. My late try was,
after d/l a .whl from last year, hoping that would work with the numpy
package in the regular repos, I did a pip install --user scikit-learn...,
and it still seems to want to write to system space: OSError: [Errno 13]

Announcement: 32 bit Wine repo for RHEL and CentOS 7
Ah, ok. I was wondering how you managed to build that, because when I tried it did not work, but I see you have backported also other bits and bobs.
If those overwrite Base, perhaps add a warning of sorts.

Richard,
I haven't checked, but I see more than wine packages in that repo, hence my thoughts about that.

Hello,
That's great, I know many people were looking for this.
Any chance you can also publish the SRPMs?

Fwd: Any chance that Crossover will solve my problem
Hello,
I developed an application that I would like to run in linux. It is
developed part in VB6 part in C++ (using VS 6 and VS 2005) and uses
Codejock's components for the UI. The installer is built with
InnoSetup.
I managed to install it on Suse 9.3 with Wine 0.9.17 but I got errors
(cannot load DLL) while registering msxml, capicom, and one of my VS
2005 dlls. I fixed the msxml
