Perhaps you're trying to push zenity past what it's intended to be, a quick method for gathering input and presenting output from bash scripts and the like. If you need something fancier than that, you

Import Nautilus file notes from C6 Gnome to C7 Mate
With C6 Gnome and C7 Mate you can right-click on a file icon, select Properties, select Notes, and write notes about your file. Does anyone know if those notes can be directly transferred between C6 Gnome and C7 Mate? I'm looking into upgrading someone's desktop machine to C7 and she has a lot of notes attached to her files that she doesn't want to lose. After doing a bit of

Red Hat is Planning To Deprecate KDE on RHEL By 2024
I use KDE and they need to, quality is lacking, every time I boot up I get to discover where my icons will be located (and this has been going on through at least a couple of recvisions). Locking doesn't help, even making the file I thought contained the positions immutable didn't help. I'm going to have to look at Trinity. Leroy Tennison Network Information/Cyber Security

What about Mate Desktop on Centos 8?
According to Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/CentOSProject/status/1173652996305170432 "The next version of #CentOS is being released September 24 and will be announced in all the usual places." I'm wondering about the status of the Mate Desktop. Looking under M here: https://mirror.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/fedora/epel/8/Everything/x86_64/Packages/m/ I don't see anything

Load html file into elinks from desktop
With a html file on my (Mate) desktop I would like to be able to right-click on it and select "open with" and have it load into elinks. But I haven't yet figured out the magic command line that I need for this to happen. gnome-terminal --command="elinks %s" That loads elinks but doesn't load the html file into it. gnome-terminal --command="cat %s | elinks"

Update failure: Mate requires libgtop-2.0.so.10
I just tried updating this laptop to the shiny new Centos version and it appears that Mate doesn't like the new version of libgtop, as you can see here: Error: Package: marco-1.16.1-3.el7.x86_64 (@epel) Requires: libgtop-2.0.so.10()(64bit) Removing: libgtop2-2.34.2-2.el7.x86_64 (@base) libgtop-2.0.so.10()(64bit) Updated By:
