Cron sending to root after changing MAILTO
Well, I feel silly.? There are three places MAILTO can affect crond: /etc/crontab, /etc/crond.d/0hourly, and /etc/anacrontab.? Once I set this in these 3 files, I started getting mail from crond.? Thank you all for your help. --- Chad Cordero Information Technology Consultant Enterprise & Cloud Services Information Technology Services California State University, San Bernardino 5500

Postfix fails after reboot
I am running CentOS 7 as an outbound gateway using Postfix, OpenDKIM, and SASLAuthd.? The trouble is Postfix fails if OpenDKIM and SASLAuthd aren?t already running and I have to manually restart these services in order.? My question is, should I modify my After line in the ?[Unit]? section of my postfix.service file to read ?After=syslog.target network.target opendkim.service saslauthd.service? or

iptables
I have an old postfix server that was historically used by the campus as an outbound gateway. The campus is now supposed to use a different server running HAProxy with several backe-end postfix servers. I am using iptables on CentOS 7 to log and block smtp and submission traffic not coming from my front-end HAProxy server (with a few exceptions for testing and monitoring). What I would like to

Printer Question
Hi! Not sure that this is the right list, but has anyone had any experience setting up a Konica Minolta Bizhub printer to use ldap authentication through samba? I know that the bizhub 250 that i have has built-in authentication, but it's really ridiculous when using the official linux drivers (they only support a one number username and a one number password e.g. 1:5 or similar). Samba for AD client?
Hey, all. I'm planning on migrating a W2K3 server to a Linux solution. It needs to be AD-aware, support ACLs, etc. This isn't something I'm doing Right Now(tm), so I can wait a little bit. A couple questions: 1) Are there any known issues with BTRFS? 2) Which version of Samba would be most appropriate for this? 3) AD integration: I've never really done it (with success); any

disk mounting madness
I've got a server running CentOS 4.2; installed as 4.1, kept updated by yum. A few days ago it crashed. I picked it up from the datacenter, and brought it back to the office, where it took a long time to boot because it couldn't find anything. When it finally booted and I logged in I discovered an interesting problem. Only the / partition had loaded. /etc/fstab had all the
