I have a couple of in use C7 boxes that were built with ntsysv and chkconfig for some old packages that needed to start using init.d. (The person setting these up didn't know about systemd creating service files for older packages, so we're stuck with these as-is. Hello, gpk-update-viewer on my CentOS 6 desktop gives me an error about untrusted updates. Hi, We are using the heartbeat and drbd packages from latest centos (4.3) extras repository. Upon installation of both packages I noticed that if you "chkconfig heartbeat off" that will cause drbd to chkconfig'ed on. And visa versa. Hi, ntsysv doesn't list the samba daemons (smbd, nmbd), and while I could use chkconfig, it appears, to add the daemons, I'd rather do this via the rcx.d links so I can understand what's going on.
