My grub2-btrfs & yum-plugin-snapper
Hello Guys,
Last Sunday I had the idea to expand my gameplay btrfs. Now what was
missing was a yum plugin which worked like arch or opensuse. Ok, I told
myself and learned a little python. Also something for grub2 to boot
into a snapshot. My results are up on:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/andybe/Centos7Btrfs/
grub2-btrfs (do not use grub-btrfs, this is the version before)

test builds on private server updates (kernel)
Sorry Hughes,
got some questions.
I have the feeling that I do a lot wrong. Today I sent a mailing post
at fedora where it is also about btrfs under fedora.
In time when i write the mail i forward it my patch for fedora 25
pretransaction & snapper.yp, with the hope of feedback.

Snapper packages for Ubuntu
Hi,
I''ve created snapper packages for Ubuntu, available on
https://launchpad.net/~snapper/+archive/stable. For those new to
snapper, it''s a tool for managing btrfs snapshots
(http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Snapper). It depends on libblocxx
available from https://launchpad.net/~bjoern-esser-n/+archive/blocxx ,
and currently uses git source up to commit 50dec40. I''ve done

was code added to detect or die on sighup recently?
I have a script that normally runs my snapshot that I haven't
used for the past several days because something seemed
to be going wrong and I wanted to run things manually.
But running the script twice today, I got:
> snaphome
Found 15 mounted dated, snaps or snap archives
?[snapper#2120]base_mp=/home
1 snap dated today.
(Use: '--force=force_create_snap' to force another snap.)

Hallo Hughes,
thanks to let me know. It is good that you have a focus on LTS 4.9.
Unfortunately it is so that the new graphics cards from amd to today are not served in the opensource.
That's why I'm experimenting with the latest stable versions and what is so.
My laptop has done the linux-firmware update well, it is nevertheless one of the newest.

Missing 'glusterfs.so' in Ubuntu
Hai,
No exactly Rowland.
There is not missing anything.
And he is correct, that file is missing in the official ubuntu and debian packages.
I suggest report a bug at ubuntu, its missing in all there samba packages.
https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=cosmic&arch=any&searchon=contents&keywords=glusterfs.so
You can pretty easy rebuild the ubuntu package if you need it.

Hello AndyBe,
I download the ISO's and started the reinstall. It went through all the normal setup up to outputting the message that it was starting Anaconda. Then the screen went blank and stayed that way. This is the same symptom as when it

X11 console
+1
It can be quite annoying when the X console is changed from one Virtual Console
to another as happens with almost every release of CentOS and Fedora. I would
really like it to be always consistent at Console 7. And the "real" system
console should always be Console 1.
I am OK with change, but this seems to be fairly random change with know
apparent advantage or benefit.
It is a
