CentOS 7: changes to php.ini
Hi,
I'm hosting a few web apps like OwnCloud, Wordpress and Dolibarr on
CentOS 7 that require a handful of changes to php.ini. I have to define
some custom values for post_max_size, upload_max_filesize, etc.
I don't know if I'm supposed to edit /etc/php.ini directly or if changes
should be put in a configuration file stub in /etc/php.d. For example, I
followed the recommendations of

PHP file upload limit
Hi all,
I am trying to run a web-based PHP application on a CentOS 5 32-bit
machine that requires me to upload large files. The machine also
happens to have little RAM (256MB).
I have no problem setting my upload limit ( upload_max_filesize ) to 1
GB but for some reason 2 GB or above seems to be no go. Would anybody
know why? Could it be one of the many 32-bit vs 64-bit issues?
Thanks.
Boris.

apache - upload files bigger than 2Go
Hi,
I need to upload files larger than 4.4Gb (iso DVD) on CentOS (5.5 x64)
http server (httpd-2.2.3-43.el5.centos)
On the apache server set in my /etc/php.ini
upload_max_filesize = 4900M
post_max_size = 5000M
In my httpd.conf I set :
LimitRequestBody 0
I'm using firefox and/or chrome client for upload a file with 4.2gb size
on the server.
But it doesn't work.

Upgrading PHP and PHP53 on CentOS5 - Progress/Problem w/ Squirrelmail
Greetings
In the attempt to upgrade the technology stack on CentOS 5 from stock PHP
to PHP53 I have made some progress.
Much thanks to all respondents, especially Jesus.
One repository that provides a complete set of builds and seems to fulfill
both PHP and PHP53 requirements is the IUS one:

CentOS 5.6 PHP 5.3 and SquirrelMail
OK, so I did an upgrade to PHP 5.3 on one of my servers. I noticed the
uninstall of php also removed SquirrelMail and it won't install under
PHP 5.3. Has anybody worked this out with a good RPM or repo solution?

Unable to arc install-certificate
Hello,
on a fresh install (i.e. newly-cloned arcanist and llvm-project), I get
this. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply, John.
Yes, there is write access:
# ls -l /var/webs/wwwgreekgeo/log/php*
-rw-rw---- 1 root apache 0 Aug 7 22:58
/var/webs/wwwgreekgeo/log/php_error_log

I thought so, initially. But I'm able to log in to reviews.llvm.org. Also,
I assume install-certificate is before any of these considerations?

apache 2 and php 5.2
Hi originally I installed php 4 on centos 5.5 and then a few repos including
the remi repo to upgrade to php5, which seems to upgrade/work without any
issues.
However when I make a change to the /etc/php.ini file it doesn't look like
apache is seeing it, for example if I change the post_max_size and
upload_max_file to 25M each apache still sees the default 2M. I also removed
the /etc/php.ini

Squirrelmail Problem on CentOS 4.4
Recently, some of my accounts cannot read any email in the INBOX within
Squirrelmail. The error....
The server couldn't find the message you requested.
Most probably your message list was out of date and the message has been
moved away or deleted (perhaps by another program accessing the same
mailbox).
The messages are not being moved out. In fact, I can delete one of those

C5-C6 Migration problem: HTML-Formatted email in Squirrelmail disappears
Greetings,
In Squirrelmail, you can install a plugin html_mail, that allows you to
compose html-formatted email.
This plugin functions with Firefox and Internet Explorer; it doesn't
function in Google Chrome.
In CentOS 5 with PHP5.1, I could copy and paste html-formatted text
with complicated html (tables, css, etc) from a text editor into the the
html-formatting pane of squirrelmail,

/etc/networks file
I am having some network connectivity issues that manifest itself through ping, wget, dnf, etc.
The symptoms are intermittent ability to ping, was wget, or connect to repositories.
Where this inquiry is going is: If your internal network is using 192.168.1 or 10..50.10, what

My current file contains:

Ran across this process to upgrade from C6 to C7, will it work???
I figure it won't. Hope the experts can clarify.
I'm still using C6 and want to C7 and really to C8.
