where to find wifi driver
Hi,
I use the wifi adaptor, Edimax AC1200, and its driver can be downloaded from 'http://www.edimax.com.tw/edimax/download/download/data/edimax/tw/download/for_home/wireless_adapters/wireless_adapters_ac1200_dual-band/ew-7822ulc'.
I fail to compile its GPL Source Code on CentOS 7.4.
Where to get its rpm drivers, or how to compile its GPL Source Code?
Thanks
Regards

Recommendation about an usb wireless adapter to use it as HostAP
Hi all,
I would like to install/test CentOS 7.X as a hostap for my home. I am thinking to use an Alfa (http://www.alfa.com.tw) usb wireless adapter or TP-Link. BUt there is not much information in Alfa's or TP-Link's web sites about which of them can run as a HostAP. If I can find any adapter that supports ac with a throughput of 150 Mbps/300Mbps, it would be great.
Any recommendation?

USB Wireless device for CentOS?
I need to get a wireless device for an upcoming trip (USB is
preferable to PCMCIA for a long list of reasons) and I'm wondering if
anyone has any experience with or recommendations for such items,
particularly which ones work with Linux/CentOS. Right now I'm
debating between a reasonably cheap Belkin 54G and a slightly more
expensive Netgear 54G.
Thanks.

Compatible 5GHz wifi usb dongles?
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a 5GHz usb wifi dongle that works out of the box with CentOS?
Tried various Mediatek (0e8d:7610) %(*^ off amazon/ebay, without any luck, so please don't suggest that.
Thanks!

Installation of dongle wifi (TP-Link: TL-WDN4200) under Centos 6.5 (Final)
Dear all,
I would like to know how I could run my dongle wifi TP-Link (Ref: TL-WDN4200, version 1) under Centos 6.5 (Final).
Should I create by myself the corresponding driver or does exist another way?
When I ran lsusb I got:
Ralink Technology RT3573 Wireless Adapter
Thanks for your help.

in general, the back of a server, buried under all the cables, and right
up against the metal box is a lousy place for an RF antenna...
