An rpm package with country flags in PNG format for CentOS 6
Hello fellow CentOS users, does anybody please know a package for CentOS 6 with at least 200 country flag images in PNG format and (lowercased or uppercased) ISO-conform 2-letter naming (like "us.png", "de.png", "ru.png", ...)? This does not have to be a specific graphic-related package, but can be anything - like a Nagios package, or maybe KDE-help package... I am

Log file format + Awstats
I'm trying to process Icecast2 log files with Awstats and I'm running into a problem which I believe may be related to an extra entry in the Icecast2 logfiles. If one compares an Apache CLF log entry such as the following: 199.125.245.200 - - [08/May/2006:12:26:00 -0600] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 53 "-" "-" to an Icecast2 log entry: 166.70.52.200 - -

Problem with Get_map getting maps without country name
Dear R users, I use: mapImageData<- get_map(source="google", c(lon=21, lat=57), zoom=6, maptype="terrain") to get ggmapTemp.png file in the directory. The problem is - some city and park names overlay with my data points I want to plot on this map. Is there a way to get the map without city, country and park names? I get this using maptype="satellite", but I

Q: PRI leading 0 (area access code) or 00 (country access code) missing on incoming callerid
hi, on our incoming E1-PRI from german telco Arcor the leading 0 for the (area access code in europe) and the 00 (country accescode in europe) are missing on incoming callerids. only prepending a single 0 is not the solution as suggested by some writers on this list, because there is no way to differ between national and international callerids and it's not possible to make the decission

Fine Tuning Country Map
Dear All, Please see the short script at the end of the email, which I assembled looking for bits and pieces on the web. It essentially does what I need: it plots several countries as a color-coded map. I just would like to fine-tune a bit the final image, in particular (1) Select my own colors for "painting" the countries (i.e. associate manually a color to every level) (2) Be

plot single part of the country using gadm map
Dear all, in GADM map there are three levels (nation, province and precinct) for each country of the world but for all of them you are never able to plot only one part of a chosen country. To be sure, I am trying to plot only one region of “Italy” and colour the different precincts in it. So far I am able to colour only the part of my interest but the programme still plot the whole country. Is

.htaccess for script aliased directories
With the great assistance I got here I was able to get .htaccess to work on a centos 5.1 box running Apache 2.2.3 a few days ago. One other question. I am trying to protect a sub dir within the web space of a domain that is serving site statistics of awstats generated pages. The path to the dir is /home/user1/www/awstats. When testing, I am able to get a username and password prompt for the

[RFC] add device.country to NUT variables
Hi there, while doing some housekeeping and improvements on usbhid-ups, I realized that the country information is needed for some advanced features processing, like Eco control and nominal values enums. This would also be interesting to expose to the user. I thus propose to add the following: |======================================================================== | Name |

worldmap_region/country problem
Dear R community, I'm trying to graphically illustrate my data with a worlmap. Unfortunately, my data is partly on country basis and partly on regional basis (e.g. certain African countries are aggregated to one region). I am using the package rwoldmap. The data on country basis can be mapped, but our defined regions cannot be identified in R. Therefore, all the countries in these

Filtering by country
For a global filter, that is filter all accounts, I use the data provided by ip2location. I put the CIDRs for all the countries where I don't plan on sending or retrieving mail in the ipfw firewall. Block all mail ports other than 25. Noye by not blocking 25, you can still receive email independent of the countries you blocked. You just can send or retrieve via pop/images. This assumes an
