Amavis on Centosl help
I'm forwarding the answer from my colleague:
release notes:
- provide two new subroutines available for calling from config files:
include_config_files() and include_optional_config_files(), each take
a list of filenames as arguments, and reads & evaluates them just like
normal configuration files specified on a command line (option -c
or a default amavisd.conf). This provides a

CentOS 3.3 is gone
Now that
http://mirror.centos.org/centos-3/3.3/updates/i386/RPMS/ is gone (be it
by design or error)
I assume that all the patches for a CentOS-3.3 box can be found in
http://mirror.centos.org/centos-3/3.4/updates/i386/RPMS/
Can anyone confirm this?
In other words, Does the 3.4 updates directory contain updates to 3.3
and 3.4?
If the answer is Yes:
Good. Now what about 3.1? Should those

packet loss on ixgbe using vlans and ipv6
Hi,
I have a Dell T710 with 4 X 10G ethernet interfaces (2 X Dual port Intel
82599 cards). It is running FreeBSD RELENG_8 last updated on July 13.
What I see is packet loss (0 - 40%) on IPv6 packets in vlans, when the
machine is not the originator of the packets.
Let me try to describe a little more. If a neigbouring machine ping6 it,
there will be packet loss. If it act as a router for ipv6,

Email pid issue
Hello gents,
First time poster here!
Current system running Centos 6.8. Buddy of mine posted a few days back about me wanting to move
from Postfix 2.6.x to 2.8 to above, still under centos 6.8. I might move over to 7, but probably
not for a while, don't have the resources presently to make this happen.
Running Centos 6.8, postfix 2.6.6, clamav 0.99.1. Basic Centos 6.8 box fully patched

IPFIREWALL_DEFAULT_TO_ACCEPT becomes default to deny
Hey Guys,
today I upgraded to 4.8-RELEASE-p15. As usual I set IPFIREWALL to default
accept in my kernel config file.
Config & make weren't complaining so, installed the kernel, reboot and there
it was:

enabled, default to deny, logging disabled
Another rebuild didn't work out so... I reviewed

Attempting to boot into ramdisk on 8.3
I have a build process (which worked at release 7.3) that makes a
bootable ISO using a ramdisk image as the boot volume. At release 8
it panics right after reporting the real memory size with:

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode

I have some questions about what needs tuned on a high traffic syslog box.

panic: vinvalbuf: flush failed
Hi,
We have a pretty serious problem with our news server crashing
during the expire cronjob. This happened with 4.7-RELEASE, so
we upgraded to 4.8-RELEASE recently, hoping that the problem
might be fixed, but it isn't. The machine is a Compaq DL360-G2.
I've searched the PR database as well as the mailing list
archives for the panic string, but didn't find anything.
What makes the

IPMI Console: No luck once OS is booted
I have a current RELENG_7 running on:
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/4U/7045/SYS-7045B-TR+.cfm
with the -3+ IPMI card.
I can interact with the BIOS, etc, but no joy once we get past the loader.
Anyone have ideas?
Attached is the kernel config, and the /var/run/dmesg.boot file.
