RHEL 7.3 released
As a heads up RHEL 7.3 is released: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/7.3_Release_Notes/index.html Pay careful attention when the CR repo starts churning out RPMs (if you have CR enabled) as there have been a few rebases in this - notably firewalld, NetworkManager, freeIPA, libreoffice, samba, amongst others If you have an ipv6 environment ping is now

Odd problem with updates to the recent CR
We started updating via CR over a week ago, before 6.7 was official, and just today identified an issue.... For (alleged) security, the agency I work as a contractor for runs SiteMinder, from CA. #insert rant_against_CA.h Anyway, starting late last week, we found issues - as in, its process, which runs under, and is started by, apache, was suddenly pegging a CPU or so. Trying to stop httpd, that

And it is NOT CentOS-7.3 .. it is CentOS-7 (1611) based on RHEL-7.3 Sources. The main tree will be labeled '7.3.1611' on the mirrors (along side 7.0.1406 and 7.1.1503, and 7.2.1511, all of which are already there) 2. When will it be done? a.

5.9: wait, or CR?
Hey, folks, I just saw Johnny mention 5.9 yesterday, and this morning, my manager tells me he got about 100 emails from somewhere about 5.9 and a CR repo. So, my questions to the team is: is there a CR repo, and is there some urgency to enabling it, or shall we just wait for the release? The *only* thing I can think of having real issues with is the newest PIV cards.... mark
