in not so distant past, 5.x, iirc, right clicking network connection
icon in task bar brought up a window showing wifi signals in area.
this is no longer and i would like to have ability again either with
network connection icon or with another icon that can reside in task
bar.
any ideas or suggestions?

Noise Cancellation of Server Noise
If the server decision makers had not gone for a server designed by
accountants but a server designed by engineers then you would not have this
problem.

deleted .dbus/sessions-bus/[fn]
greetings.
while using rsync to copy /root/* from tower box to laptop computer, i
accidentally over wrote .dbus/sessions-bus/[fn] on laptop computer.
ran extensive web search, including;
http://www.freedesktop.org/software/dbus/
to find how to replace or recreate file, only to find everything about
what it does and why.
question is, how do i recreate, short of re-installing from .iso?

first run was to login with my isp, only to find page would not fully load
and a message bar saying;
