Can't ping non-tinc host in subnet across VPN
Dear list, I'm currently trying to simulate a VPN in a very simple configuration at home. My normal home-net 192.168.0.0/24 serves as "the internet". Three test machines are used, two of them connected to "the internet": odin , external IP 192.168.0.100/24 on eth0 thor , external IP 192.168.0.101/24 on eth0 My VPN uses address space 10.0.0.0/8 in the following way: odin

Gateway question
Hi, You can define your default gateway in "/etc/sysconfig/network" file, GATEWAY="192.168.1.1" After that, restart network services. # systemctl restart network --Regards Ashishkumar S. Gateway question
Hi There is a Centos 7 up-to-date box with 2 interfaces, let's say 192.168.1.12 - enp2s0, 192.168.1.13 on enp3s0. Default gateway on enp2s0. The gateway is pfsense, IP is 192.168.1.1 with 2 WAN connections On the gateway the outgoing traffic is routed by source ip to different WAN, 192.168.1.12 to WAN1 and 192.168.1.13 to WAN2 On the centos box are set all the route and routing rules:

rpcbind fails to start after creating virbr0 bridge
Hi, In my office I have an HP Proliant server running CentOS 7. It's a minimal install without GUI. The machine has two network interface cards, and for now it's acting as gateway/firewall, and it's running ntpd, Dnsmasq and Rsnapshot. I'd like this machine to also be a KVM virtualization host, so I installed qemu-kvm and libvirt. The interface facing the LAN is enp3s0, so I

NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED Joining Domain - Desperately need help - [SOLVED]

macvtap and tagged VLANs to the VM
Hi, I would like to run a network firewall as a VM on a KVM host. There are ~ 25 VLANs delivered to the KVM host on three dedicated links, no LACP or other things. I have the VLANs 100-180 on the host's enp1s0, the VLANs 200-280 on the host's enp2s0 and the VLANs 300-380 on the host's enp3s0. To save myself from configuring all VLANs on the KVM host, I'd like to hand the entire

Specifying an IPv6 wildcard in the interfaces directive?
My network uses reserved IPv4 addresses (192.168.2.0/24) behind a NAT firewall, but public IPv6 addresses behind a filtering firewall. My ISP (Comcast) assigns both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses dynamically. As a result, the IPv4 address of my internal Samba server is statically assigned, but its IPv6 address is dynamically assigned. The server has multiple IPv4 addresses assigned to it, all on

But on this one machine the network interface doesn't work. After installing ip addr shows: [root at clgmol ~]# ip addr 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue

Reliable way of having both LAN and WIFI on headless box
NetworkManger should work pretty nice and good as required. Just run the right cronjob every minute to make sure the connection is up or down and find out if it's possible to reconnect. NetworkManager is kind of does all you need automatically so you should not do anything unless there is a technical issue. NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED Joining Domain - Desperately need help
I am desperately in need of help. I have a Centos 7.2 server running Samba 4.6.13 as an active directory domain controller. I am trying to join a new Centos 7.4 server running Samba 4.6.13 to the domain. The domain command will not connect to the other server. I have firewalld and selinux disabled on both servers, I can ping both ways. From the new server I was able to do a kinit -U
