How do I get my pool back?
After having to replace an internal raid card in an X2200 (S10U3 in this case), I can see the disks just fine - and can boot, so the data isn''t completely missing. However, my zpool has gone. # zpool status -x pool: storage state: FAULTED status: One or more devices could not be opened. There are insufficient replicas for the pool to continue functioning. action: Attach the

Ggplot error
I was not able to reproduce this problem. I tried two environments 1. Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS, R version 3.4.2 (same R version as yours) 2. zfs_nocacheflush
A question regarding zfs_nocacheflush: The Evil Tuning Guide says to only enable this if every device is protected by NVRAM. However, is it safe to enable zfs_nocacheflush when I also have local drives (the internal system drives) using ZFS, in particular if the write cache is disabled on those drives? What I have is a local zfs pool from the free space on the internal drives, so I''m

[LLVMdev] OpenCL Frontend
There seems to be some interest these days in OpenCL. However for some projects, a issue they face to adopting OpenCL is requirements of maintaining two source trees: one for normal C code (for use on systems without OpenCL support or poor OpenCL performance) and another for OpenCL. I am interested in using LLVM to create a OpenCL frontend for multicore CPUs. Now that the spec is out, we have a

ZFS and powerpath
How much fun can you have with a simple thing like powerpath? Here''s the story: I have a (remote) system with access to a couple of EMC LUNs. Originally, I set it up with mpxio and created a simple zpool containing the two LUNs. It''s now been reconfigured to use powerpath instead of mpxio. My problem is that I can''t import the pool. I get: pool: ###### id:

So, just some quick notes: - dovecot.org server was down a couple of days again, need to find time to move it to a VM.. - my tss at iki.fi emails were also broken for some hours at least and it was bouncing back all mails to it during the time - I fixed some bugs reported by people, but I did it in airplane so couldn't reply back with links to the fixes in hg repo. I'll probably do

Installing splancs_2.01-9 on Red Hat Linux 7.3
Hi all, I'm trying to install the splancs contributed package on a Redhat 7.3 system with R 1.5.1 installed. I've installed the readline41-4.1-10 RPM which Redhat requires for R and it works great, thanks very much. However, when I attempt to R CMD INSTALL splancs_2.01-9.tar.gz as root, I get the following error message during the install: [snip] g77 -fPIC -O2 -m486

Identify c-style pointer to array
HI all, in C/C++, arrays and matrices often are passed as pointer so functions. Suppose I'd like to write a pass operating on arrays , for example an array of doubles passed via double * and checking for the type i will identify a pointer to double (isAggregateType()=false). As this style of passing arrays using pointers is widely used, I wonder if there is any chance to identify a pointer

Question about PATCH method, accepts_nested_attributes_for, and updates to association lists (has_many, HABTM)
Am interested in the new PATCH method that will be included in Rails 4, but have a question/concern, and forgive me if I''m misunderstanding it. So, if the request parameter _method is set to "patch", the update is processed as a patch. But, let''s say you have a model called Airplane and Airplane has a collection of FlightCrewMembers which it

I did try to use it to see if I could work out what you were trying to do and help but there is so much in there that I suspect is distraction from the notch issue and its error message. Please can you give us something stripped of all unecessary things and tell us what you want? Something like data that we can read as a tribble() or from a dput() of
