greetings. trying to install yumex, but obviously have forgotten what i did previously to install packages. sudo yum install yumex* errors out with; No package yumex* available. please inform my chemo brain what is correct. tia. -- peace out. Missing fonts for tightvnc
You would think installing via yum would handle dependencies, but perhaps fonts are not managed like dependencies..... Anyway, I installed tightvnc to test out its IPv6 support. Installed ok (after I erased regular vnc). Centos 7.5 and Courier 10 Pitch fonts in Libreoffice
Everyone, With the update to Centos 7.5 it is apparent that we lost the Courier 10 Pitch fonts that were in "xorg-x11-fonts-Type1". Does anyone know how to get this back. Greg Ennis

32 bit programs and libraries on a 64 bit architecture
greetings. today i attempted to update update for the nss-util. i selected the x86_64, clicked apply, error message popped up showing a conflict because the i686 was also installed. opened yumex to see what i686 was installed and found a bunch of i686. because system is a dual core 64 bit, i decided to remove all i686 packages, programs first, then lib files. during reboot, thought hit that

USB thumb drive for CentOS 7.7 to install
I took the "everything" iso and did the dd command to my 16G thumb drive. I booted and entered my usual ks=http://xxx on the boot line. All good so far. It gets my kickstart file and installation begins. At some point it says Installing libreoffice-opensymbol-fonts (492/1948) Retrying download of 1:libreoffice-opensymbol-fonts-5.3.6.1-21.el7.norarch then after 10 retries it fails. I
