partedmagic connecting to a comcast address
i have been noticing a short connection burst in system monitor every time i connect to internet. i got curious and decided to run wireshark to see what was happening. seems that i am connecting to 96.195.141.178 with destination of "PartedMagic". this seemed strange because i do not have PartedMagic installed, so i ran a 'whois' check. this is what it showed: IP Location

It's a DIY system with an Asus K8V-X motherboard[1], an AMD Clawhammer 3200+ and 1 GB of Kingston ECC RAM. The system has been perfectly stable despite being utterly abused on a daily basis for almost 3 years. I've tried:

Slow access from Windows 7 to samba share on CentOS 6.6 after upgrade
Hi all, Did anybody notice a really slow access from Windows 7 (especially from the MS Office suite) when trying to open a Word-doc for example, that sits on a samba share on a computer recently upgraded to CentOS 6.6?
