fwdmsa package: Error in search.normal(X[samp, ], verbose = FALSE) : At least one item has no variance
I'm using the fwdmsa package to identify deviant cases in a Mokken scale analysis. I've run into a problem., separate from the one I posted previously. The problem comes with items that are "easy" by IRT standards. A good scale should include a range of difficulties; yet when I include "easy" items in a forward search I continuously run into the problem that these items

Does Ruby / Rails have something similar to PHPs ''virtual''
Hi all Is there a rails / ruby function that is analagous to PHPs ''virtual'' function? "virtual() is an Apache-specific function which is similar to <!--#include virtual...--> in mod_include. It performs an Apache sub-request. It is useful for including CGI scripts or .shtml files, or anything else that you would parse through Apache. Note that for a CGI script,

Problem with Let's Encrypt Certificate
> That's one of the reasons I don't like Let's Encrypt, with one year certs it is easier to look at the certs and see what is going to expire in the coming month needing a new private key. I use dehydrated (with Cloudflare DNS challenges) and as far as I know, it seems to generate a new private key every time. All newly generated certs are generated with the timestamp in the

spss long labels
Hi, A frequently seen issue with importing SPSS data files, is that R does not import the 'long variable names'. I built a patch on the R-project's foreign module, in order to import the 'long variable names' from SPSS (record 7, subtype 13). To complete the job, I had to expand the "struct variable" definition to have 64 +1 charachters. I'm not aware of side

Test server.
Does somebody have, or is aware of, a server somewhere that is hosted on an internationalized domain name? I need a server to bang on for a little bit to test the implementation of Nameprep and Punycode encoding. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Managesieve AUTHENTICATE with IDN using UTF-8 or encode into ACE?
Hey dovecot-users, clients that speak telnet based protocols like http, smtp usually encode IDN (International Domain Names) containing UTF-8 characters into ACE (ASCII Compatible Encoding) punycode. I am wondering what the case was with managesieve (RFC 5804). For example if I was using a username like "user@???.example.com" with the AUTHENTICATE command. Would that need to be encoded

Anyone know or have a perl, c/c++ script?
Hello all, Im hoping maybe someone on this list has already looked for or built something similiar. Basically from what I can tell, phps imap libraries or whatever dont support setting custom keywords. So I am wondering if someone has a library or script that can take a username, domain, password, folder, uid and flag to set so that my webmail app can call this to set imap keywords. So far my

Weird LM behaviour
Dear R users, experimenting with the lm function in R, I've encountered some behaviour I don't understand with my limited knowledge of regression. I made a data-'set' of three measurements (see syntax below). Using lm (linear model) to fit the regression-line, I expected to find an intercept of 2.0 and a slope of 0, but in fact the slope is slightly below zero. Amazed by

PHP 7.x on CentOS 7 : which solution ?
Hi, As you all know, CentOS 7 is shipping PHP 5.4, which is OK in some situations. Unfortunately, some applications like OwnCloud require a more recent version of PHP. Up until recently, I've been using PHP 5.6 packages from the Webtatic repository. Despite the bad press this third party repo seems to have, it has been working perfectly for me for a few years. Here's the PHP 5.6 packages

Support of unicode in then recipient names
Hi Dovecot Community, We are using ltmp to deliver messages through postfix to dovecot. During testing we have found that dovecot does not understand recipient email address if it is composed from national symbols : e.g. ???????@???????.??????? Question is are there any plans to either add native support for such email addresses or to translate it to punycode and then try to find such a
