Scraping data from website---Error in htmlParse: error in creating parser
I'm trying to scrape football projections from accuscore.com for the different positions (right now the projections are set to zeros, but that will change). I can get the QB projections, but I can't get the projections for any of the other positions (e.g., RB). How can I get the RB projections? I'm not sure what the actual website for the RB and other projections is. When I go to

Hello, I'm using R 2.2.0 on a Mac and attempting to use the RODBC package to connect to a PostgreSQL server on the local network. I can't tell whether my problem is in R, or in ODBC setup. I got drivers from OpenLink, created a dsn and tested it using the iODBC application. then I load the RODBC package, use this code and get the following error. I tried with both the

43Things.com on the Today show?
They weren''t as far as I know. But maybe they should be soon. It looks like the Today Show (a morning show on NBC in the US) is doing a "Live for Today" segment, basically the same thing that 43 Things is doing. Maybe someone from Robot Coop should let them know about 43 Things. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7225307/ -Lee

As.Factor with Logistic Regression
I am modeling the probability of player succeeding in the NFL with a binomial logistic regression with 1 signifying success and 0 signifying no success. I performed the regression of the binomial variable against overall draft position using the college conference for which each player played as a factor using the as.factor(Conference) command. My question is: How do I plot specific factors

"Export ordinal too large" when linking LLVM.dll with MinGW64
Hi, Trying to build llvm.dll (8.0.0) with mingw64 (gcc 8.1.0) using cmake. After linking for hours and consuming some 7GB of RAM, ld.exe finally bails out with: X:/tools/mingw64/bin/../lib/gcc/x86_64-w64-mingw32/8.1.0/../../../../x86_64-w64-mingw32/bin/ld.exe: Error: export ordinal too large: 283482 The command I used is: cmake \ -DLLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD=X86 \ -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug \

git://git.zytor.com/users/genec/syslinux.git Branch win64-mingw32-ubuntu-for-hpa This adds the compiler prefix used in Debian/Ubuntu to the list (amd64-mingw32msvc-). Too bad /bin/sh doesn't support brace expansion. -- -Gene

Robocopy from Windows to Samba (3.6.3) with backup flag
Hello, I need to copy a Windows NAS to a Samba one preserving all stuffs (dates, owner, security, etc...) in an enterprise environment. I'm used to do that with between two Windows using robocopy and the /b (backup) flag, so I can backup files even if I do not have an ACE for my account as I have the backup and restore privileges. I need to do the same thing from Windows to Samba but using

[LLVMdev] Clang64 on Windows using Mingw64 yields many linking errors?
Hi again, I am regularly building my small STL-enabled C++ project using Mingw64 on Windows x64 and the program runs fine (it builds and runs fine on x64 Linux too). Then I got brave and decided to try out Clang, because I'd eventually like to take a look at the quality of the generated code, and then did the following: 1. Set CC to clang. 2. Set CXX to clang++. 3. Run cmake and let it

Just ran into the same problem, but with `-DLLVM_BUILD_TOOLS=ON` since the tools link against shlib and use the C++ interface I can't use Cosmin's solution. win32-mmap problem
Hi all, Ruby 1.8.1 (hand built, not the installer) Windows 2000 I was just playing with win32-mmap. I tried running the test_server.rb and test_client.rb. I started the server, which seems to be fine, but when I run the client I get this: C:\eclipse\workspace\win32-mmap-0.1.0\test>ruby test_client.rb C:/ruby/lib/ruby/1.8/ftools.rb:23:in `initialize'': Permission denied -
