FYI: http
I just had to browse to a printer... and with https-use-strict at a server
higher up, firefox *would* *not* let me get there. I don't see the
circa-2012 printer offering https.
Luckily, there was konqueror, which *did* let me go to http://<printer>
I just *adore* SmartSoftware that Won't Let You Endanger Yourself....
Reminds me of Jack Williamson's old novel, The Humanoids.

CentOS 7 CUPS: where queue defaults are stored?
Dear Experts,
CentOS 7 outsmarted me (again...).
Could someone tell me where cups print queues' default settings are stored?
In the past I was doing rather trivial thing: I was setting up prototype
machine (making kickstart file based on it), then I was configuring all
printers on prototype machine. After which (with cups daemon stopped) I
was just packing /etc/cups (and maybe

Blank printers names while browsing remote printers from windows
Hi friends.
This morning waking up is painfull.
We've got a
great CUPS+Samba+Winbind print server sharing 30+ printers to our
windows clients.
Until this morning no issue, used on production for a
couple of weeks.
Today, the printer shares became unbrowsable from
windows. We can see the printers names from samba share :
"\printserver", but when we click on the "Show

I've been googling, and haven't yet found the answer: does anyone here
know if a MegaRAID SAS 2008 (falcon) (rev 03) can handle drives bigger
than 2TB?
