What the heck is a "text/html decoder"
My phone service provider offers a way to check my voicemail via a webpage. However, when I go to that webpage with Firefox and try to play back a saved message, a window pops up that says this: "The following plugin is required: text/html decoder" What is it looking for and how can I install it? I already have these totem rpms: totem-nautilus-2.28.6-2.el6.x86_64

playing DVDs on C7
Hi all! I'm trying to finish setting up my newly upgraded C7 system. Well, on C7, I've got totem (videos) and all its plugins I can find via yum, VLC (from nux) all the gstreamer and gstreamer1 packages I can find, everything with

I believe this could be interesting to a number of people on the list, not just me.

totem fails to open .wmv file
Hey All, Totem has stopped playing .wmv files recently. I don't know exactly when this happened, but I know I've played .wmv files not too very long ago. I've got 372 .wmv files all of which I've played at one time. When I try to launch any one of the .wmv files from file manager totem pops up but the controls are not functional. If I start totem from a terminal there is no

Recover botched drdb gfs2 setup .
Hi. The short story... Rush job, never done clustered file systems before, vlan didn't support multicast. Thus I ended up with drbd working ok between the two servers but cman / gfs2 not working, resulting in what was meant to be a drbd primary/primary cluster being a primary/secondary cluster until the vlan could be fixed with gfs only mounted on the one server. I got the single server

totem: something wrong with gstreamer-plugins-ugly
When running totem to play a move (e.g. mpeg-1 file), it fails with the message: "A MPEG-1 System Stream demuxer plugin is required to play this stream, but not installed." After reading docs and trying various things I've reduced the source of the problem to the package gstreamer-plugins-ugly-0.10.11-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm # rpm --rebuilddb # rpm -q libdvdread libdvdread-4.1.3-1.el5 #

Problem with CLVM (really openais)
I'm desparately looking for more ideas on how to debug what's going on with our CLVM cluster. Background: 4 node "cluster"-- machines are Dell blades with Dell M6220/M6348 switches. Sole purpose of Cluster Suite tools is to use CLVM against an iSCSI storage array. Machines are running CentOS 5.8 with the Xen kernels. These blades host various VMs for a project. The iSCSI

updated some packages now some windows hang after open or close
I had a need on a centos 5.4 x86_64 box to try and run with a later totem. I desired to do this by source. After installing the packages below my system comes up, I thought everything was good. thunderbird comes up firefox comes up. totem works -------- however there seems to be an issue with closing or opening windows some random time later with all three programs. It gives the impression
