XFS is the default production file system in centos 7... I've been
using it for quite awhile on C6 for my performance-oriented PostgreSQL
database servers as well as archival storage servers and such, and have
had zero

btrfs 0.13 and XFS comparison
Hi there,
Just gave 0.13 a spin against XFS (both with default mkfs options) on
my SATA tower and was impressed by how much performance has improved
since last time I played with it (v0.5)!
It pretty much matched XFS for I/O performance and had much better
file creation/deletion performance.

cyrus spool on btrfs?
I hate top posting, but since you've got two items I want to comment on,
I'll suck it up for now.
Having SSDs alone will give you great performance regardless of
filesystem.? BTRFS isn't going to impact I/O any more significantly
than, say, XFS.? It does have serious stability/data integrity issues
that XFS doesn't have.? There's no reason not to use SSDs for storage of

some feedbacks seen on btrfs
First off, thanks for an awesome file system, it is working well for
my purposes of compressing a filesystem on a small VPS. Woot!
I thought I''d call out a few things (in the hopes of spurring
improvements) I''d seen about btrfs (in case they weren''t common
knowledge...):

caret package
Hi all
I am using the caret package and having difficulty in obtaining the results
using regression, I used the glmnet to model and trying to get the
coefficients and the model parameters I am trying to use the
extractPrediction to obtain a confusion matrix and it seems to be giving me
errors.

Hi,
I have gote the following data
x1 <- c(rep(1,6),rep(4,7),rep(6,10))
x2 <- rnorm(length(x1),6,1)
data <- data.frame(x1,x2)
and I would like to compute the mean of the x2 for each individual of x1, i. e. x1=1,4 and 6?
Thank you very much in advance,

Hello,
In the attached file training.csv (I apologize for the large file) I

I tried the following R statements.

Kernel oops when running bonnie++ on btrfs
I wanted to see how btrfs compares to other filesystems so I have been
running bonnie++ on it. While the results are good(much faster then
ext2) every once in awhile I get a kernel oops. I am testing on xubuntu
8.10 with the 2.6.27-7-686 kernel using the latest git sources. Most of the
time the oops happens within 20min of running bonnie++ but sometimes it
takes a few hours. This happens with and
