It should be looking at /6/ instead of a specific point release. We
(CentOS) do not provide updates for individual point releases. You are
several years behind in security and bug-fix updates. Once a specific
minor version is expired, it is moved off the main mirrors and into the
vault. The current iteration of the /6/ tree is 6.7, so everything below
that is no longer available on the mirrors.

6.4 : How to enable epel and the rpmfusions??
I've installed 6.4 on an old T30 ThinkPad, and I'm
in the midst of setting it up. I can't seem to get an rpm of Pan for it,
nor even to do yum update.
Mousing around fedoraproject eventually got me to http://
rpmfusion.org/Configuration/ and from there to downloads for the free,
nonfree, and epel packages (along with a caveat that tells you -- *after*
you've gotten rpmfusion

CentOS 6 update issues
Hello all,
I manage a few servers overseas that are running CentOS 6.
When performing a yum update, it fails because it's trying to download from:
mirror.centos.org/centos/*6.6*/extras/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml
Which fails due to the fact that the entire 6.6 directory is empty on all
of the mirrors I have checked. From what I can tell it should be using:

Yum issues with EPEL
Folks
After years of working just-fine, I have an automated script that
manages yum for me at initial install time. Sometime within the last
48 hours, I get the error message

And this message repeats through all the mirrors, causing the load of

Unable to get software using Yum
Hi
I am new to CentOS and been into Linux for about 3 months now. I first
started off with fedora and also trying my hands on CentOS now.
Basically i used yum to download softwares on the fedora box. I mainly
require the snmp agent for my linux boxes so as to test my network
management product. On some of the CentOS boxes the following command
worked for me :
yum install net-snmp

Yum Mirror Errors
While attempting to grab some packages from the repos I've been getting
a lot of mirror errors. Anyone have any idea why?
I've recently updated from CentOS 5 Beta2 to the final version and it
went flawlessly. The first thing I did though was to update the
centos-release packages per a previous post. I was under the impression
this would take care of repo problems. Was I incorrect?

Dag mirror, yum and repomd.xml!
Hi:
I have a mirror of dag repository
(http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/dag/) in my intranet which is used
by other servers to install/update rpms. I installed on every remote
server the rpmforge rpm, edit the /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmforge.repo to fit
with my intranet mirror, but when I run yum, I get this error:
#yum -c rpmforge.repo search nagios
