OK, I need to start with a basic "dumb" question. What named xorg version does my package version 1.15 correspond to? X11R7.? I just applied a bunch of updates to my CentOS 7 system yesterday, one of which was a Firefox update to 68.0.1esr. My Update Applet keeps giving me messages to install an update to a package I do not have installed. To make matters more confusing, when I actually try to install the package it wants to update, there is a problem with the installation. Any tips on how to resolve this? ... and causing me great concern at the moment. I've got a notification of 673 Software updates at the moment. I didn't see anything on this list that indicated that kind of update. Unfortunately, the "Details" option which would normally show me what repo is providing the updates, does not seem to provide any information. Anyone else having this problem? Not happy... :( --
