maybe that are packages of 6.7, therefore I suggest

where did SCL go?
I believe it's because I'm using the 32 bit flavor of centos. Of course I
found a doc stating that right after I sent the email.
Thanks,
Jason

colored CLI with reattach
Using Asterisk 1.4.26.2
I can get a nice colored CLI if I run asterisk -c
But I cannot achieve this when I reattach to an existing instance
(as i want to do) with asterisk -r.
Is there a way to reattach and have color?
Thanks

bind update flubbed somehow?
hey folks, we upgraded bind last night to bind-9.8.2-0.62.rc1.el6_9.1.x86_64
and now our server seems to not be able to update. Whenever we add
records and update the soa and reload,
it still shows the old data..
so for example, we have
[root at bind1 /var/named]$grep servername domainname.net.zone
[root at bind1 /var/named]$nslookup -port=5353 servername 10.115.76.87
Server: 10.10.76.87

question about shared samba directory file permissions..
im trying to set up a shared samba directory for users to use on centos
7, but whenever I create a file from the samba client to the samba server,
the owner of the file ends up being the user the share is mounted up as..
on the server (server1),
[samba]
comment = samba share
path = /samba/
read only = No
valid users = @samba
write list = @samba
force group = +samba

How to reattach to a failed ssh session or process
Hi, is there a way to "reconnect" to a ssh session that was
disconnected and left running processes in the linux server?
I know that's the purpose of the screen command, but just to spread
know-how, is that possible?
Example:
3441 pts/0 S+ 0:00 nano /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
I remotely connect to a machine via ssh and started to edit apache
conf and i did not used screen

you are correct sir.. something is screwed up!
I remember running into a problem with the base repo enabled and swept
it under the rug by disabling it for the moment and then
forgot all about disabling it.. So when I enable the base repo, and run
yum with debug flag, I see the following:

forcing smbmount to unmount question
when you have something smbmounted with samba..
//ADMINISTRATOR@CALVIN_SR/M$ 112G 71G 41G 64% /mnt/samba
and you unmount it
and it gives you
/mnt/samba is busy
Im absolutely positive that I am NOT in the /mnt/samba dir, nor is anyone
else.
is there any way to force it to unmount?

[PATCH] virtio-blk: Don't free ida when disk is in use
When a file system is mounted on a virtio-blk disk, we then remove it
and then reattach it, the reattached disk gets the same disk name and
ids as the hot removed one.
This leads to very nasty effects - mostly rendering the newly attached
device completely unusable.
Trying what happens when I do the same thing with a USB device, I saw
that the sd node simply doesn't get free'd when a
