Control what messages go into /var/spool/mail/root
Hi,
I found some info messages below in /var/spool/mail/root.
To reduce the size of that file, I'm wondering if there's a way to prevent those unimportant messages from entering /var/spool/mail/root. Thanks.

Keepalived - spurious failovers
Hello,
We are using CentOS 6.6 and keepalived 1.2.13 on two servers for
failover, no load-balancing. Failover is governed by the NIC being
present, and the Apache and Tomcat processes being present. Both servers
are configured as 'EQUAL' (not master/backup). An initial priority of
100 is set, and if a process or NIC fails, then this is reduced by 60 -
causing a lower priority to be seen

Maybe there is a confusion here. Sounds like Tim thought keepalived
would create that eth1, like a tunnel interface, but it won't. You have

I tested a little more...
tincd does not create virtual interface device correctly on CentOS 7, I don't know where tincd stop, probably on " System call `getaddrinfo' failed: Name or service not known" I sent you before.
Keepalived return that error I shown on every ip command but this is not a problem now, I'll see this as soon as possible.

I've 2 asterisk, I want pull the ethernet wire and then reconnect it after 5

connection goes on the second asterisk?
I want this:
I call to asterisk1, then I pull the ethernet wire down, vrrp makes up the
other asterisk but not the audio streaming...the callers are always pointed

sub-optimal ZFS performance
Hello,
ZFS is behaving strange on a OSOL laptop, your thoughts are welcome.
I am running OSOL on my laptop, currently b124 and i found that the
performance of ZFS is not optimal in all situations. If i check the
how much space the package cache for pkg(1) uses, it takes a bit
longer on this host than on comparable machine to which i transferred
all the data.

In a fit of irony, while preparing to burn a CDROM

I did a rm *>o instead of rm *.o on an ext3 filesystem.
And I'm well aware that under normal circumstance you
can't undelete, especially a ext3 filesystem. However,
I need to at least *try* to recover this. I've built

Replacing HDD in x4500
The vendor wanted to come in and replace an HDD in the 2nd X4500, as it
was "constantly busy", and since our x4500 has always died miserably in
the past when a HDD dies, they wanted to replace it before the HDD
actually died.
The usual was done, HDD replaced, resilvering started and ran for about
50 minutes. Then the system hung, same as always, all ZFS related
commands would just
