I've installed 6.4 on an old T30 ThinkPad, and I'm in the midst of setting it up. I can't seem to get an rpm of Pan for it, nor even to do yum update. Mousing around fedoraproject eventually got me to http:// rpmfusion.org/Configuration/ and from there to downloads for the free, nonfree, and epel packages (along with a caveat that tells you -- *after* you've gotten rpmfusion

I've tried removing all zfs and related packages (spl*), then starting fresh. For reasons that have have nothing to do with this problem (I don't think), I'm still booted to kernel 2.6.32-431.29.2.el6.x86_64, and there are no other kernels installed.

The mirrorlist entry in my Fedora-11 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-update.repo reads: mirrorlist=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=updates-released- f$releasever&arch=$basearch As far as I can see, this means that yum is looking for the file metalink at mirrors.fedoraproject.org ? greetings, i find this strange because i see problems when using 'wicd'. 1st problem is that wicd allows network to be connected on reboot, even when network is disconnected at time of reboot. such does not seem to be good because i leave system up 24/7/365 and if there is a mains failure and ups takes system down, system will come back up with network connected, which i prefer not to
